Dabang Delhi K.C. 52-35 Bengal Warriors

Annihilation! Absolute annihilation from the Dabang Delhi K.C. They have kept in mind the final of season 7 and come out all guns blazing to exact revenge. The Warriors bear a sorry state to their side. Apart from Maninder Singh, no other player really got going for the Warriors. Sukesh Hegde picked up nine points, which largely included quick bonuses towards the end of the contest, when the writing was all but on the wall for the Warriors.

As for Delhi, Naveen Kumar stole the show once again with an astounding 24 raid points! He was tackled just once over the course of the match which speaks volumes of the form he is currently in. He was ably supported by Vijay, who secured a Super 10, a well-deserved one for the youngster. The defence was in top form and perfectly executed their plans against Maninder Singh, who was kept on the bench for a substantial amount of time.

At the beginning of the second half, the momentum was on the side of the Warriors, with the defending champions collecting points in clumps. However, any chances of a comeback got extinguished as soon as Maninder Singh was tackled and sent to the bench. Post that, it was Dabang Delhi K.C. all the way through and they did not present any other opportunity to the Warriors to make a comeback.

21' Manjeet executes an ankle hold on Maninder Singh but it is a weak one. Maninder frees himself and walks back to his half.

Dabang Delhi K.C. 33-15 Bengal Warriors

Dear oh dear! Naveen is absolutely unstoppable today! The Warriors have absolutely no answers to his skills and prowess as the youngster has quietly gone about his business, picking up 16 raid points in the first half itself! The Warriors' defence were too late to open their account and still have only only two tackles to their name, something which is proof enough of their poor showing in this contest.

It is turning out to be quite a one-sided contest and if the Warriors fail to keep Naveen quiet, the Delhi outfit will seal this game by a huge, huge margin. Better planning and execution will be needed from the Warriors as they go into the second half. We have seen teams worse off making a comeback and winning the game. Do the Warriors have the potential to do so? Stick around and find out as we will be back in just a few moments for the second half!

Right then, it is a top-of-the-table clash as the Dabang Delhi K.C. take on the Bengal Warriors in the nineteenth fixture of the tournament. The Delhi outfit are the only unbeaten side this season, with two wins and a draw to their name. They rightfully occupy the numero uno spot in the points table and will look to retain that post this contest as well.

The Warriors, too, got off to a solid start to their campaign this season. They secured twin wins against the U.P. Yoddha and Gujarat Giants in their first two encounters. However, in what was an edge-of-the-seat thriller, the Warriors failed to get over the line against 'Hi-Flyer' Pawan Sehrawat's Bengaluru Bulls, losing the game by just 1 point. Nonetheless, they stand third with eleven points and will be eyeing a win here that'll take them to the top of the table.

The Delhi franchise started their season with a massive 11-point win over the Puneri Paltan. They followed that up with a 4-point win over U Mumba. Their previous game against the Gujarat Giants was a tied one. As they clash with the Warriors, the Delhi side will look to exact revenge of last edition's final, in which the former had won the championship with a 5-point win over Delhi. Naveen Kumar has received some much-needed support this season and with experienced campaigners amongst their ranks, Delhi will look to continue their lossless campaign.
