FULL TIME! Bengal Warriors 42 - 48 Gujarat Giants

Right so the Gujarat Giants have scored 48 points out of which, 25 points have been scored by Parteek Dahiya single-handedly! He remains not out and has not been tackled even once in this contest! 22 raid points, 3 tackle points to his name and very evidently, he's been the difference between the two sides. The Giants move to the top of the table with this resounding win. Oh this has been an exhibition of pure skill and talent from Parteek as he single-handedly does the job for the Giants. Where were they hiding him all season long? As for the Warriors, their defense failed today, allowing the Giants' raiders to take lots of points away quite comfortably too. A comprehensive win for the Giants and they will be pleased with it! 

40' Do-or-die raid for the Giants and Parteek Dahiya strikes! Runs down the clock and goes for the kill once there's less than ten seconds remaining! Gets a hand touch on the centre defender and escapes from Shubham Shinde's hold too. 

A solid back-hold from Fazel Atrachali and Maninder Singh is pulled back with his hand on the mid-line but not having crossed it. Oh how close was that? 

Bengal Warriors 42 - 51 Gujarat Giant

39' Shrikant Jadhav is tackled now as an ankle hold from Sombir brings him down. Balaji D, who had come around with a dash, has gone out of bounds too!

Maninder Singh pushes aside the right cover defender and returns in a flash.

38' Maninder Singh escapes from the right-in defender Rakesh's attempted ankle hold and escapes.

Parteek Dahiya strikes again! Escapes from the left corner's ankle hold and gets another touch on the cover as well, who had come for assistance. 34' Nitin Kumar picks up a bonus point as the defense hangs back. Fazel puts in a solid ankle hold and tackles him. However, he had stepped out of bounds before the tackle.

ALL OUT! Parteek Dahiya escapes from Nitin Kumar's attempted ankle hold. He rises and quickly tags Maninder Singh too, who was caught napping!

Bengal Warriors 36 - 43 Gujarat Giants

34' Nitin Kumar is allowed the bonus and prevents an all out as he gets a running hand touch on the right corner.

Vaibhav Garje perishes now as his double thigh hold attempt is to no avail. Parteek escapes in a flash!

Nitin Kumar picks up a bonus point following which he gets a touch on Sombir in the right corner, who had come for a dash.

Parteek sends back the left corner once again. Warriors down to one man again!

32' Nitin Kumar picks up a bonus point as the Giants' defense is a little tentative.

Parteek Dahiya puts in a kick and Jaskirat Singh has to depart from the left corner. Warriors down to two men!

Nitin Kumar is allowed another bonus point as the Giants defense hangs back and allows him to do so.

Shubham Shinde tries a hand-hold on Parteek Dahiya but the raider escapes in a flash.

30' Maninder Singh is tackled! A surprise double thigh hold from Parteek in the right-in position and Maninder is pinned down!

Parteek Dahiya strikes and brings up his Super 10! Escapes from the surprise double thigh hold of the right-in defender and wanted another touch to be awarded on Jaskirat Singh but only one point has been awarded!

28' Vaibhav Garje is in two minds about a double thigh hold and Rakesh turns to escape comfortably.

Bengal Warriors 26 - 31 Gujarat Giants

24' Vikash Jaglan snaps up a bonus point as the Bengal defense hangs back. Well, its not a bonus there. He had gotten a toe-touch on the right corner instead. Silly errors.

Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Nitin Kumar goes for it in a defense of three! He goes deep and gets a hand touch on the left corner. However, Gujarat Giants review! Doesn't seem to be any conclusive evidence against the touch. Review unsuccessful! 

Bengal Warriors 22 - 31 Gujarat Giants

22' SUPER RAID! OH THAT'S HUGE! Shrikant Jadhav goes deep as four defenders run around for a tackle. Fazel there, Parteek there, Rakesh there and one more defender but Shrikant uses raw power to escape! Falls back, twists and turns to escape!

The last remaining Giant picks up a bonus point but he slips, which allows the cover defender to pounce on him. Oh wait there, seems like Shubham Shinde stepped into the lobby before participating in the tackle.

Bengal Warriors 21 - 30 Gujarat Giants

HALF TIME! Gujarat Giants 28 - 17 Bengal Warriors

Quite a one-sided affair so far as the Giants are running away with the game. They are playing with more intent today and deserve the lead. They were off the blocks quickly before the Warriors levelled the score. However, the Giants showcased their dominance from there on, inflicting two all outs on the Warriors. Parteek Dahiya's all round contributions is helping the Giants' cause but for the Warriors, the raiders are having to do the scoring as the defense is just not working out for them. It will be interesting to see whether they can make a comeback from here. Which team will emerge on top? Stick around to find out!

18' ALL OUT! Another all out! Parteek Dahiya leaps over the right corner's double thigh hold attempt and gets a touch on Aditya Shinde, who was in two minds and came for the tackle.

Shrikant Jadhav picks up a bonus point. On the other side, Rohit uses the lobby to return as Darpan's dash is to no avail.

Maninder Singh escapes from Fazel's attempted back hold and returns in a flash.

Gujarat Giants 25 - 13 Bengal Warriors

17' Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Shrikant tries his best to get a touch. Flies through the air but fails to get a touch. Goes into the lobby and is self out!

Do-or-die raid for the Giants and Parteek Dahiya strikes! Runs around Shubham Shinde, who was trying a double thigh hold, and escapes!

Aditya Shinde saves an all out! Picks up a bonus point and goes on to put in a kick to send back Fazel!

Gujarat Giants 20 - 11 Bengal Warriors

16' Ravi runs around with a solid dash and Maninder Singh is tackled! Fazel with the assist there brings him down!

Rakesh snaps up a bonus point in front of the left-in defender.

Parteek Dahiya strikes! Puts in a dubki through the chain of Darpan and Vaibhav Garje and returns to his half!

Nitin Kumar is tackled as well! A double thigh hold from Ravi Kumar and there is assistance from the rest of the defense to bring him down.

10' Aditya Shinde ends up stepping out of bounds. Parteek escapes from Vaibhav Garje's ankle hold and returns with two points. Bengal down to one man now!

ALL OUT! Nitin Kumar is allowed to pick the bonus point. An ankle hold from Fazel from which Nitin escapes but Ravi puts in a dash to send him packing!

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League, 2023. The fiftieth match of the tournament will witness Gujarat Giants take on the Bengal Warriors at the Noida Indoor Stadium. 

The Gujarat Giants have had a terrific campaign so far, winning five matches out of the eight that they have been a part of so far. They are placed third in the points table and will be coming into this match on the back of two wins in their previous two matches. Rakesh has been in top form while Fazel Atrachali has been at his best too while leading the side. Overall, the Giants bear quite a formidable look but will be wanting to hold their nerves in the key moments to take the game home. 

Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, are placed eighth with three wins and two tied encounters. They came out all guns blazing in the start of the tournament and were off to a flier but have lost steam from there on. They are winless in their last four encounters and will need quite a turn of fortunes if they are to win this encounter today. Their raiders will have to perform well while the defense, which is not what the team had envisioned due to injuries, will have to come together and be coordinated if they are to keep Rakesh and Co. down.
