FULL-TIME!! Haryana Steelers 41-36 Bengal Warriors

What a fast-paced game this was between the Haryana Steelers and the Bengal Warriors. Hardly we saw any empty raids in the first 30 minutes. The Warriors made a comeback at the end of the first half to take a two-point lead courtesy of Maninder Singh's super raid. 

However, it was Haryana's show in the last 20 minutes. They inflicted two all-outs and ensured they were on top. What a raiding performance it was by them. Much much needed given the fact that they haven't been the best raiding sides in PKL 10. Siddharth Bahubali Desai got his second consecutive Super 10 while being tackled just once. Shivam Patare too reached his Super 10 and showed why he's a clutch raider. Vinay too contributed with six raid points to put the cherry on the top. The defense didn't have an ideal day except Mohit Nandal who got four points but Haryana will still be happy with how they performed. 

Meanwhile, third consecutive defeat for the Warriors. Raiding was good with Maninder securing 13 points whereas Nitin got 9 and Shrikant got 7. But it was the defense that disappointed them today especially Jaskirat who gave away way too many points. He had seven unsuccessful tackles out of 8 which sums up his day. 

With this win, the Steelers move right at the 4th spot whereas the Warriors are struggling at the 10th spot. That's it from this game. This is Meeth Agrawal signing off.

Do or die for Shivam Patare. He gets a bonus under right corner but gives his ankle to Shubham Shinde. A point each to both sides.

A flying hand touch by Nitin Kumar on Rahul Sethpal at the right corner.

Bengal are pushing for an all-out as Nitin Kumar quickly gets a touch on Mohit at the left corner.

Last raid of the day and Jaideep sacrifices himself giving away a point to Maninder and ensuring there's no more action to continue.

Do or die for Maninder Singh and he throws Mohit Nandal on the other side. Mohit came for a block but Maninder throws him before getting a bonus under left corner. 

36' Haryana Steelers 40-30 Bengal Warriors

This is the first time Siddharth Desai is tackled. Vaibhav Garjet comes from the right cover and dashes Siddharth out. 

11th point for Shivam and he gets that with a bonus under right in. 

34' Haryana Steelers 39-29 Bengal Warriors

ALL OUT!!! Bengal are all-out once again. A dash from Mohit Nandal from the right cover sends Maninder back in the hut. 

What a point for Siddharth. A running kick on Jaskirat at the left cover. 

Another dash by Mohit Nandal. This time on Nitin who attempts a bonus under left corner but find Mohit running in on him. 

32' Haryana Steelers 34-29 Bengal Warriors

Haryana push for an all-out as Vinay gets an easy touch on Vishwas at the left in. 

A bonus by Maninder under left corner.

Another point for Vinay. Jaskirat with an ankle hold but Vinay escapes successfully.

A quick bonus by Nitin Kumar between left in and left corner.

Siddharth is out for the first time today. He gets out in defense though as Nitin Kumar gets a running hand touch on him.

A multi-point raid for Shivam Patare. Aditya attempted an ankle hold at the left corner followed by a dash by Vaibhav. But as we know, Shivam is so quick as he escapes back in time. 

A great ankle hold by Mohit at the left corner. Nitin attempts a bonus but gives his ankle to Mohit. 

28' Haryana Steelers 29-26 Bengal Warriors

A great dash by Jaideep Dahiya. Comes from the left cover and dashes Maninder out of the mat. 

A silly mistake from Shivam as he loses his control and goes into the lobby without a touch. 

Super 10 for Siddharth Desai. Escapes a double ankle hold by Jaskirat at the left cover. Shubham came for support but was late as Siddarth was back on time.

An ankle hold attempt by Naveen at the left corner on Maninder but the latter escapes back easily. 

A running bonus by Shivam Patare under left in. Maninder also gets one under left corner.

A quick bonus by Shrikant under right corner.

Another point for Siddharth as he escapes a dash by Jaskirat from the left cover.

Shrikant responds with a running hand touch on Naveen at the left corner.

22' Haryana Steelers 19-20 Bengal Warriors

Siddharth Desai starts the second half with a backkick on Vaibhav Garje at the right corner. 

A perfect dash by Mohit Nandal. It was a great one as Mohit got this one on the opposite side for a right cover. 

There's just no stopping for Siddharth Desai. Aditya with an advance tackle misses his attempt giving away a point. 

HALF TIME! Haryana Steelers 16-18 Bengal Warriors

What an eventful 20 minutes this has been. Just what we wanted from this game. No team really looked settled with just two do-or-die raids in the first half. The Steelers had an opportunity to inflict an all-out but here comes Mighty Maninder who got a Super Duper raid right in time to bring the Warriors back in the game and ultimately gain a two-point lead going in the second half. 

We are definitely in for a thriller. Do not go anywhere!!!

20' Haryana Steelers 16-18 Bengal Warriors

What a comeback this has been from the Warriors. This time with a SUPER TACKLE by Vaibhav Garje. Shivam runs right into the double thigh hold of Vaibhav at the left corner. 

A series of empty raids and it's now a do-or-die raid for Shrikant Jadhav. He is tackled down by Haryana but oh boy, Jaideep Dahiya's foot crossed the midline in the attempt giving Shrikant a point. 

18' Haryana Steelers 16-15 Bengal Warriors

Shivam is quick as a train as in no time he gets a running hand touch on Aditya at the left corner. 

Naveen gets his revenge on Nitin as this time he gets a good hold on Nitin's ankle at the left corner.

Warriors are left with just two men and its now down to one as Shivam Patare escapes an ankle hold by Shubham Shinde at the right corner. 

Maninder Singh, you beast!!! Naveen Kundu comes with a block from left corner whereas Vinay tries an ankle hold but Maninder pushes Naveen past the midline and gets a SUPER RAID!!! He got a bonus as well under Vinay at right in. 

16' Haryana Steelers 13-12 Bengal Warriors

Vinay is just making raiding look easy. Dipak from the right corner attempts a double ankle hold but Vinay keeps his hand on Dipak's head to find a way back to the midline. 

Meanwhile, Nitin Kumar is keeping the Warriors in the game as he gets yet another point. This time he escapes an ankle hold by Naveen Kundu at the left corner.

14' Haryana Steelers 12-11 Bengal Warriors

Nitin Kumar is dashed out by Mohit Nandal from the right cover. A bold dash by him given he has a head injury. However, Nitin had his hand over the midline just in time and Haryana reviewed it. And and, the decision goes in favor of Bengal and Nitin gets a bonus plus a touch on Mohit Nandal. 

An advance ankle hold by Vaibhav Garje too close to the midline. Vinay splashes his legs and escapes back. 

12' Haryana Steelers 11-9 Bengal Warriors

A quick escape by Shivam Patare as he escapes yet another ankle hold by Shubham Shinde at the left corner.

Nitin Kumar attempts a bonus under left in. On his way back finds Mohit Nandal coming with a dash but Nitin escapes easily. Bengal has reviewed for a bonus but they don't get one.

A well-earned point for Vinay as he stops and runs towards Jaskirat at the right corner to get a hand on his chest. 

10' Haryana Steelers 9-8 Bengal Warriors

Siddharth Desai gets another bonus added to his tally. He gets one under the right corner. 

Shrikant Jadhav also does the same and that too at the same place. 

Siddharth is dealing in bonuses today. This time he gets between left in and left corner. 

Ohh No! Shrikant Jadhav attempts a running hand touch on left corner but loses his momentum and falls right into the lobby. 

Vinay gets his first point of the day with a running hand touch on Vaibhav Garje at the right cover. Similar result for Maninder at the other end on Mohit Nandal. 

8' Haryana Steelers 5-6 Bengal Warriors

A multi-point raid by Shivam Patare. Shubham Shinde, at the right corner, attempts an ankle hold followed by a dash from Jaskirat Singh. But Shivam, with his quick feet, goes back quickly and gets his hand past the midline. 

A dash from Jaideep Dahiya from the left cover but Shrikant Jadhav had his eyes on him and escaped successfully. 

6' Haryana Steelers 3-5 Bengal Warriors

Maninder Singh responds with a bonus under the right corner and Siddharth follows with the same result. 

A running hand touch by Maninder Singh on Mohit Nandal at the right cover. Maninder turned and caught Mohit off guard making it easy for him to get a touch on his chest. 

4' Haryana Steelers 2-3 Bengal Warriors

An ankle hold attempt by Mohit at the left corner on Nitin. But Mohit loses his grip and Nitin escapes easily. 

Do or die for Siddharth Desai and what an escape from Bahubali. Runs towards the left cover Jaskirat who attempts a double ankle hold but Siddharth, with his strength, just drags Jaskirat towards the midline. 

2' Haryana Steelers 1-2 Bengal Warriors

In just 16 seconds, Mohit Nandal sends Maninder back with a brilliant dash from the right cover. 

The Warriors repay with Jaskirat Singh securing an ankle hold on Shivam Patare at the left cover. 

Shrikant gets a quick bonus right under the nose of the right corner.

The Steelers had an upper hand last time these two sides met in Mumbai. Since then, Haryana Steelers have lost one of their last six games.
