Puneri Paltan 39-27 Bengal Warriors

Battered, bruised but never out! Puneri Paltan have turned the tables and announced their comeback in this season and how! It was Aslam Inamdar who has taken them to victory and the youngster just keeps getting better with every passing game. Picked up 17 raid points along and one tackle point and has stolen the spotlight from Maninder Singh. Abinesh Nadarajan was the star in the defence as he picked up a High 5.

As for the Warriors, it was the same old story yet again Maninder Singh did the bulk of the scoring. His 13 points went in vain as he once again failed to support, with Nabibakhsh having yet another poor outing. Substitute raider Akash Pikalmunde picked up 8 raid points and will be likely to feature in the starting seven in the Warriors' next fixture. The defending champions have been handed their second loss on the trot and it is time for them to go back to the drawing board and come out with a different strategy this time around.

Puneri Paltan 20-11 Bengal Warriors

A dominant show from the Paltan and the lions are prevailing over the tigers. Led by Aslam Inamdar, who has 5 raid and a tackle point to his name. Abinesh Nadarajan has been absolutely instrumental and has sent back the likes of Nabibakhsh and Maninder Singh back to the bench on multiple occasions. Nitin Tomar's return had given the side a new vigour.

Too many errors for the Warriors and they have been outplayed in the first half. Allowed the Paltan to make a comeback with a couple of Super Tackles after it was the Warriors who had the lead. Maninder Singh is the sole man doing the point scoring yet again but having spent substantial time on the bench, the Warriors are trailing by a massive 9 points. Paltan certainly looking the better side in this match but one can never count the Warriors out till Maninder Singh is playing. Will Pune squander their lead or get a much needed win under their belt? Stick around to find out!

Right then, the Puneri Paltan have had quite a torrid run in this tournament so far. With just two wins from seven games, they are reeling at the eleventh position in the points table. They have managed to salvage just one point from their five losses as four of them have been by huge margins. A win today will help them rise to the ninth position and as coach Anup Kumar promised, the Pune outfit will not give up and will give it their all to make it to the playoffs.

The Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, have not played like the defending champions so far. The Warriors are placed eighth with just three wins and four losses from seven fixtures. Skipper Maninder Singh has been the lone fighter and has the bulk of the scoring. Support from Nabibakhsh has been good but not ample to take the side over the line. The Warriors will need to provide the duo some much needed support and the other five members of the starting seven will be expected to step up and get some much needed points.

The Warriors have won just one encounter in their previous five fixtures as is the case with the Puneri Paltan as well. Two struggling sides and expect both to come out all guns blazing to get a much needed win under their belt.
