With Aslam missing from the action, captain Pankaj Mohite rose to the occasion, leading by example with eight crucial raid points. Akash Shinde made a significant impact in the starting lineup with a Super 10, while the defensive trio of Aman, Abinesh Nadarajan, and Gaurav Khatri each notched High 5s. 

On the other side, Guman Singh put in a valiant effort for Gujarat, registering a Super 10, but unfortunately, he lacked the support needed to turn the tide. The Paltan were simply too strong on both offense and defense.

Gaurav Khatri tries for another ankle hold but this time Guman was ready and thus escapes easily. 

Akash Shinde completes his Super 10 as he gets a running hand touch on skipper Neeraj Kumar at the right cover.

Gujarat are trying to close the gap as much as they can as Guman Singh entices Gaurav for an ankle hold but escapes with ease.

A poor advance ankle hold from Sanket Sawant. It was very close to the midline and thus making it a cakewalk for Guman Singh. 

An unnecessary ankle hold from Sombir at the right corner and Mohit finds it way back with ease. 

If Gaurav Khatri has got a grab on your ankle, then there's no escape. Another one from the right corner and once again on Guman Singh giving the raider no way out.

ALL OUT!! Jitender is the only man in defense for Gujarat and he gives up a point to Akash Shinde. 

Pune are just unstoppable tonight. Aman, with a textbook ankle hold, traps Parteek right in front. 

Akash adds another with a quick bonus under right in.

Both teams have started taking the safe approach as they play on the third raid.

And a do or die for Pune and it's captain Pankaj who has made his way in. It's a SUPER RAID!!! That was just unbelievable from Pankaj as he jumps over the chain of Parteek and Sombir and even escapes a block from Balaji on his way back. 

Do or die for Himanshu as well. He tries his best for a running hand touch but fails to get one and the clock runs down.

Do or die raid and Mohit is trapped in Gujarat's defense. Mohit ventured in too deep and was caught in the chain of Parteek and Sombir. 

Do or die at the other end as well. Aman gets his first tackle point as he traps Guman Singh with a block. However, the raider got a bonus to his name before leaving. 

10' Puneri Paltan 14-5 Gujarat Giants

First tackle point for Gujarat as Jitender Yadav, just in time gets the ankle of Mohit Goyat who attempts a back kick on the left corner. 

Abinesh responds by dashing out Rakesh who was attempting a bonus at the left corner. What a timely dash by the right cover defender. 

8' Puneri Paltan 13-4 Gujarat Giants

An easy two-point raid for Akash Shinde. Sombir tries for an ankle hold followed Balaji coming for support. However, Akash was too close to the midline and thus finds his way back easily. 

A silly advance tackle from Aman as he tries to block Guman Singh from the left corner. But the raider turns and escapes with ease. 

That's brilliant from Gaurav Khatri at the right corner. Guman had no idea when the ankle hold came in and was left just clueless.

Pune continues to get points as Akash Shinde adds one more with a running hand touch on Rakesh at the left. 

First touch point of the night for Gujarat as Guman extends his arm and gets a running hand touch on Sanket Sawant.

Skipper Pankaj Mohite goes in a three-man defense and he sends out Neeraj Kumar out of bounds with his pace and then follows it up with an escape from Balaji's ankle hold.
