An absolute edge-of-the-seat thriller and in the end, it is the Bengaluru Bulls who emerge victorious! And it can perhaps be credited to those quick bonus points that were taken by Sachin Narwal in the end. A brilliant substitution there and they get over the finish line. The Bulls were trailing at the start of the second half but made a fantastic comeback to inflict an all out and take a slender lead. Even from there on, the lead kept changing hands but in the end, those bonus points from Sachin Narwal erased Thalaivas' lead and put the Bulls ahead. The Bulls move up in the points table while the Thalaivas will be pretty disappointed with their performance as they remain at the eleventh position in the points table. 

49' The defense stands advance and does not allow Bharat to cross the baulk line. However, he just manages to get his foot over it and cross it before returning after the clock had run down!

34' Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and Mohit comes in for it. He runs straight into the block of Saurabh Nandal in the right corner. 

ALL OUT! A surrender raid on the other side as Sahil Gulia pushes him back. The Bulls are in the lead!

34' Bharat has been tackled but was there a self out there? Amirhossein Bastami the culprit there. Stepped beyond the end-line before going for the tackle of Bharat. Oh well, turns out even Ajinkya Pawar had gone out of bounds. They both were in the right corner in a chain. 

However, Tamil Thalaivas review! They believe that the defenders are not out. However, replays suggest that both defenders' feet were out of bounds before the touch. Both get involved in the tackle and both have to depart. Review unsuccessful! 

Bengaluru Bulls 28 - 31 Tamil Thalaivas

32' Surjeet runs around with a stellar block and it is Nitin Singh who is tackled.

Oh nearly! SUPER TACKLE! Neeraj Narwal goes deep and runs around the right corner chain. However, the two defenders combine and run around to send him spiralling out of bounds!

30' Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Vikash Kandola perishes in a defense of three. SUPER TACKLE! Runs around and tries a hand touch on the left corner. The left-in defender puts in a surprise double thigh hold and Vikash is brought down!

Saurabh Nandal, meanwhile, ends up stepping into the lobby, giving away a free point to the Thalaivas.

Neeraj Narwal, meanwhile, ventures deep and gets a hand touch on Sagar in the right corner.

28' Aman runs around from the left corner with a chain and Narender is pinned down! The Thalaivas down to three men again!

26' Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Neeraj is tackled! The left corner runs around for a dash and sends him packing. Oh well, turns out the left corner had gone out of bounds as well. One point to each side.

Ajinkya Pawar is tackled! Parteek from the left cover runs around in a flash and brings down Ajinkya.

SUPER TACKLE! Sagar does it! A diving double thigh hold from him and Vikash Kandola is completely immobilised.

A match that was neck-and-neck up until the dying moments of the first half, where the Thalaivas have taken the lead. The Thalaivas have been better in raid but the Bulls' defense has been superior. All of this by just a few points as there is not too much to separate the two sides. This match promises to go right down to the last raid! Which side will emerge on top? Stick around to find out!

Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Bharat comes in for it. He relies on the bonus and he gets it as well!

16' Bharat ventures deep and gets a quick hand touch on Himanshu Singh in the left-in position.

Surjeet runs around with a dash but Narender backtracks quickly and crosses the mid-line.

14' Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Sushil has been substituted in for it. He runs out of time and a solid block from the left corner brings him down.

Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas on the other side and Ajinkya Pawar strikes! Goes deep and while returning, puts in a dive through the air and sends back the left corner.

12' Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Neeraj Narwal perishes! A diving ankle hold from Sagar from the right corner and the covers pin him down.

A double ankle hold from Surjeet and Himanshu Singh tries to drag himself to the mid-line but fails to do so.

8' Narender gets a kick and sends back the crouching Bharat from the right-in position. Neeraj Narwal responds with a bonus point!

Vikash Kandola is tackled! He goes deep in the right corner and the covers run around with a dash. Oh wait! Abishek is guilty of jersey pulling and Vikash Kandola's jersey is in tatters. It has been torn completely. The tackle stands as it did not have a big impact on the tackle.

6' Mohit runs around and puts in a solid block. Abishek comes for assistance as well and they send him spiralling out of bounds.

Narender picks up a bonus point and also proceeds to get a toe-touch on Saurabh Nandal.

Neeraj Narwal strikes! Sahil Gulia runs around with Himanshu for a chain tackle. However, Neeraj puts in a dubki and escapes.

Ran Singh stands advance with a block but Ajinkya Pawar bulldozes his way back to the mid-line.

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League, 2023. The final match of 2023 will be a Southern Derby between the Tamil Thalaivas and the Bengaluru Bulls at the Noida Indoor Stadium. 

The Tamil Thalaivas have had a forgetful campaign so far. They've got more problems than solutions at this point and will need something special once again, similar to last year, if they want to make a comeback. They have just two wins to show from eight matches and are languishing at the bottom of the points table, placed eleventh. They are in the midst of a 5-match winless streak and there has just been too much chopping and changing from the coach. They will need to play out of their skins to win today. 

Bengaluru Bulls, meanwhile, have faced a similar fate. They are placed tenth in the points table and have just three wins. However, most of their losses have been very close ones where the Bulls have failed to hold their nerve and clinch the crucial moments. The Bulls will be eager to get some sort of winning momentum going as it is not too late for them yet. The Bulls' defense has been decent but the raiding hasn't lived up to the billing. It will be a difficult match for the Bulls against a win-hungry Thalaivas.
