FULL TIME! Jaipur Pink Panthers 25 - 24 Tamil Thalaivas

The Tamil Thalaivas started the half with a healthy lead and kept maintaining it, if not adding more to it. They were all set to inflict another all out at the end of the thirtieth minute but a super tackle by Sunil Kumar prevented it. From there on, the Pink Panthers kept delaying the all out and courtesy of the super tackles, reduced the deficit as well. The Thalaivas will regret not being able to inflict the all out earlier. In the end, the Thalaivas leaked points and allowed the Pink Panthers to take the lead! A miscalculation on the part of Ajinkya Pawar has costed the Thalaivas the game! He should've returned way earlier if he had no intention of picking a point. Ashan Kumar is fuming and spare a thought for Ajinkya Pawar - he must be feeling quite terrible once he has realised what he's done. Nonetheless, it's an absolute heist by the Pink Panthers and they add another win to their tally while the Thalaivas remain winless at home. 

40' Arjun Deshwal crosses the mid-line and runs down the clock before returning! And that is a terrific comeback from the Pink Panthers!

38' Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and Jatin has been substituted in for it. And he almost goes through! Sees the right corner chain of Sunil and Reza run around and bursts through them only to be pulled back just inches within the mid-line! All tied up!

4' Ajith Kumar is ushered out! As soon as he runs around for a hand touch, Abishek puts in a massive dash that sends Ajith out of bounds just inside the mid-line.

Arjun Deshwal picks up a couple of points! Escapes from the left-in's ankle hold and gets a touch on Abishek on his way through too!

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League 2023. The thirty-sixth match of the tournament will witness home team Tamil Thalaivas take on the Jaipur Pink Panthers at the SDAT Indoor Stadium, Chennai. 

The Tamil Thalaivas could not make a great start to their home leg yesterday as they lost their encounter against the Patna Pirates, going down fighting in a match where not too much went their way. Himanshu and Himanshu Narwal performed well while Ajinkya Pawar did well too. However, the defense did not provide the assistance that was required, resulting in the Thalaivas suffering a heavy 13-point defeat. They will surely be looking to make a comeback and get back to winning ways. 

The Jaipur Pink Panthers, on the other hand, had a shaky start to their campaign. However, they ensured a stellar turnaround and made sure that they have gotten two back-to-back wins to ascend in the points table. With their defense clicking well, they are playing like defending champions and seem to lose only courtesy of their own mistakes. 

Each and every member of their defense is in form while the duo of Arjun Deshwal and Ajith Kumar are doing well to prevent any pressure being put on the defense. The Pink Panthers will look to make a hat-trick of wins today against the Thalaivas.
