FULL TIME! Telugu Titans 26 - 46 Bengal Warriors

The Bengal Warriors return to winning ways with a solid win over the Telugu Titans, one which was along pretty expected lines though. It was easy sailing for the Warriors both in raiding and defense. Vaibhav Garje starred with 9 tackle points while Shubham Shinde had 6 to his name as well. Vishwas S and Nitin Kumar fell just short of a Super 10 but will be pleased with the team's performance. As for the Titans, Pawan notched up a Super 10 but it will go in vain as once again, he lacked support from his team. A comprehensive win and the Warriors will be pleased with it. 

40' Aditya Shinde steps into the lobby as he goes for a back-hold on Pawan Sehrawat which brings him down. However, he has to return.

On the other side, Vishwas S ventures deep and gets a touch on Sandeep Dhull. Pawan Sehrawat responds with a touch on Kapil Gurjar in the right cover.

Oh well, this time it is Aditya's bother - Shubham Shinde, who steps out of bounds before going for a diving double thigh hold on Pawan which pins down the raider. Well, the decision has been reversed. Pawan has to return to the bench and the Warriors skipper continues on the mat.

Nitin runs around with a dash but Aslam Thambi uses the lobby well to return in a flash.

Robin Chaudhary is brought down as he runs straight into the thigh hold of Shubham Shinde in the right corner.

Telugu Titans 26 - 46 Bengal Warriors

40' Sanjeevi S runs straight into the double thigh hold of Vaibhav Garje and is pinned down in a flash.

ALL OUT! Nitin Kumar with a four-pointer again! A double ankle hold attempted by Sandeep Dhull while Mohit Rathee cannot pull him back. Nitin uses every bit of force left in him to tackle him!

Telugu Titans 24 - 42 Bengal Warriors

36' Shankar Gadai is brought down now! Shubham Shinde stands tall with a soldi block with his partner from the right-in and the duo togetherther ensure he's pinned down.

Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Vishwas S strikes! Escapes from the ankle hold of Nitin and returns in a flash.

Robin Chaudhary is sent packing now as Shubham Shinde runs around with a solid dash to send him packing!

Telugu Titans 24 - 37 Bengal Warriors

34' Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Shrikant Jadhav perishes! A solid ankle hold from right corner and there is assistance from the covers immediately. Warriors down to two men! 

ALL OUT! Pawan Sehrawat cleans house! Gets a kick on Shubham Shinde in the right corner and thrusts himself to the mid-line. Aditya Shinde runs around for assistance but Pawan has to only extend his hand to cross the mid-line. 

Pawan Sehrawat goes down! The covers run around with a dash and Pawan is tackled just inches inside the mid-line. There is a disagreement on some matter between the two sides and there is perhaps some jersey pulling there. Telugu Titans review! They want the point to be awarded to the raider there as Vaibhav Garje is accused of jersey pulling. However, the TV umpire's call is in line with that of the on-field umpires. Review unsuccessful! 

Telugu Titans 24 - 34 Bengal Warriors

32' SUPER TACKLE! Pawan runs straight into Jaskirat Singh's double thigh hold which completely immobilises him! That should have been Titans' ticket back into the match but instead, Bengal extend their lead.

Shankar Gadai runs around and with a surprise back-kick, sends back Jaskirat, who was standing alone in the centre position despite a defense of four.

30' Pawan Sehrawat snaps up a running bonus point in front of the right-corner defender. Pawan adds another bonus in front of the left-in this time. 

Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Vishwas S is tackled this time! Mohit Rathee from the right corner runs around with a dash and sends him packing. He was in the lobby still but other defenders ran around to ensure he is dashed out. 

Pawan ventures deep and gets a slight touch on Vaibhav Garje, who was standing in the centre position. However, Bengal Warriors review! They believe that there was no touch there. After a look at it, the TV umpire rules in favour of the Titans and there is a point there in the end. Review unsuccessful! 

On the other side, a solid dash from the right side of the defense ensures that Nitin Singh is dashed out.

Telugu Titans 18 - 31 Bengal Warriors

28' Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Vishwas S strikes! Tumbles as soon as Sandeep Dhull goes for an ankle hold and drags himself back to the mid-line.

Do-or-die raid for the Titans and Pawan Sehrawat picks up a point too! Gets a touch on Aditya Shinde in the left corner and returns. Can the Titans make a comeback here?

Telugu Titans 13 - 30 Bengal Warriors

26' Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Vishwas S perishes! He runs into the thigh hold of Nitin and is pinned down.

Do-or-die raid for the Titans and Prafull Zaware decides to come in for it this time! Pushes aside Aditya Shinde, who had come with a dash but before he can make it back, he is pulled back by the rest of the defenders.

Telugu Titans 12 - 30 Bengal Warriors

22' Pawan starts the second half by returning to the bench. An ankle hold from Aditya Shinde in the left corner is met with immediate support which brings down the Arjuna Awardee.

Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Nitin Kumar perishes! Nitin from the right corner stands tall with a block and the raider is trapped.

Do-or-die raid for the Titans and Robin Chaudhary decides to rely on the bonus point. However, his trailing foot was not in the air and he is deemed to be out.

HALF TIME! Telugu Titans 10 - 27 Bengal Warriors

It's been quite one-way traffic so far and it's been expected as well. The Titans got off to a decent start and it seems as if they would put in a fight but soon after they lost the plot completely. Pawan has been able to chip in with only 4 points so far. Sandeep Dhull, their best defender, has picked up 3 points but has been substituted out. None of the other players have really contributed to the Titans' cause. For the Warriors, Vaibhav Garje has already notched up his High 5 while Nitin Kumar and Vishwas S are sharing raiding responsibilities. It looks to be quite a one-sided contest this and it will require something special from the Titans to make a comeback here. Which side will emerge on top? Stick around to find out! 

20' ALL OUT! Nitin Kumar cleans house! Parvesh tries a thigh hold over which Nitin Kumar leaps. Nitin, the Titans defender, runs around for assistance but cannot pull him back in. Bengal extend their lead further!

Pawan snaps up a bonus point following which Shrikant Jadhav writhes his foot free from Mohit Rathee's ankle hold and escapes.

Pawan returns with another bonus point with ten seconds left on the clock. Nitin Kumar responds with a bonus point of his own in front of the left-in defender.

Telugu Titans 10 - 27 Bengal Warriors

18' Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Vishwas S has been given the responsibility of getting the point. And he delivers too! Mohit Rathee from the right corner runs around with a block but Vishwas ploughs through the defender and bulldozes his way back to the mid-line.

Do-or-die raid for the Titans and Sanjeevi S has been substituted in for it. He runs around but runs out of time in the end. Shubham Shinde stands tall with a chain and traps him in it.

Telugu Titans 8 - 21 Bengal Warriors

16' A double ankle hold from Sandeep Dhull and Nitin Kumar fails to escape from it. More importantly, Pawan has been revived.

Pawan runs straight into the thigh hold of Vaibhav Garje and is completely trapped! Pawan was revived but returns back just as quickly.

Telugu Titans 8 - 19 Bengal Warriors

14' Do-or-die raid for the Warriors and Shrikant Jadhav is pinned down! As soon as he tries a kick on the left corner, Sandeep gets a hold on his ankle and the remaining three defenders pounce on him.

Do-or-die raid for the Titans on the other side and Prafull Zaware has been sent in for it. However, he fails to possess enough power to escape as Vaibhav Garje pulls him back almost single-handedly.

Telugu Titans 7 - 18 Bengal Warriors

12' Shrikant Jadhav is sent packing out of bounds as Parvesh Bhainswal runs around with a solid dash that sends him spiralling out.

Vaibhav Garje with a thigh hold and it is Robin Chaudhary who is completely immobilised. Robin's attempted jump is to no avail as there is assistance from the rest of the defense in a flash.

Telugu Titans 6 - 17 Bengal Warriors

TIMEOUT! 

10' Jaskirat goes in for a double ankle hold but Prafull Zaware tumbles and escapes back to the mid-line.

Vishwas S picks up a bonus and as soon as he does that, the cover defender runs around for a dash. However, Vishwas was already on his way back and returns.

Pawan is tackled once again now as Shubham Shinde stands tall with a double ankle hold and there is assistance from the others straightaway.

 Telugu Titans 5 - 16 Bengal Warriors

8' Nitin Kumar ventures deep and sends back Sandeep Dhull with a hand touch to reduce the Titans down to one man.

ALL OUT! The last remaining Titan - Hamid, goes in for raid. He is granted the bonus point but following that, he fails as the defense surrounds him as soon as he puts in a kick.

Shrikant Jadhav picks up a bonus point following which a double thigh hold from the right-in defender gets the better of Pawan Sehrawat.

Vishwas S ventures deep and gets a touch on Sandeep Dhull in the left corner.

Telugu Titans 4 - 13 Bengal Warriors

6' First do-or-die raid of the match, and there's not much Pawan Sehrawat can do there, with Bengal holding a disciplined defensive line and essentially timing Pawan out.

Bengal go into the lead and extend it as Nitin Kumar shows his class, stepping up as the lead raider, this time with a running hand touch on Parvesh Bhainswal. Their defense then pounces to bring Prafull Zaware down. The Titans down to two as it stands.

Telugu Titans 3 - 6 Bengal Warriors

4' The first tackle point of the match goes the way of the Telugu Titans, and it's Sandeep Dhull who pounces with a well-timed back hold on Shrikant Jadhav. Vishwas S does well to pull one back for Bengal, however, drawing an advanced tackle from Mohit Rathee. Nitin Kumar then follows up with a swift running hand touch on Nitin.

Telugu Titans 3 - 3 Bengal Warriors

2' The Arjuna Awardee Pawan Sehrawat opens his account for the night in the Titans' first raid of the match, taking out his opposite number, racing across the mat to tag him. Nitin Kumar gets a bonus point to open Bengal's account, but Pawan looks really up for it today, and gets a second touch point with ease, this time on Vaibhav Garje in the right cover.

Telugu Titans 2 - 1 Bengal Warriors

We're all set for live action. Bengal to raid first, and it'll be Shrikant Jadhav who steps up.

Big news coming from the Bengal Warriors camp as their captain Maninder Singh is out of the matchday squad, presumably with an injury. There will be lots of pressure on Shrikant Jadhav to step up as the leader of their raiding department, although the return of Nitin Kumar does help them a bit.

Right corner defender Shubham Shinde will lead them today.

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League 2023. The sixty-fourth match of the tournament will witness the Telugu Titans lock horns with the Bengal Warriors at the DOME @ NSCI, Sardar Vallabhai Patel Stadium, Mumbai. 

The Telugu Titans have had a dismal campaign so far to say the least. They have just one win to show from their ten matches. If you take into account their last year's performance as well, the Titans have just three wins in 32 matches. They have just not been able to get any momentum going and have failed to pick points right from the get-go. With Pawan Sehrawat likely to miss this game while being conferred with the Arjuna Award today, the Titans find themselves in even deeper trouble. 

Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, have not had the best of times in the recent past. They made a cracking start to their campaign but from there on, find themselves winless in their past six matches. The Warriors have had some injury concerns, with their first choice players in Nitin Rawal, Shreyas Umbardand and Darpan being ruled out.

Maninder Singh will have a lot of pressure on him as well, with Shrikant Jadhav having lost form and young Nitin Kumar not firing on all cylinders in his debut season. It will be interesting to see how they go about their business. They will have had some time to think and review their errors and will be desperate to get their campaign back on track against the Titans, against whom they'll start as favourites.
