FULL TIME! Bengaluru Bulls 33 - 34 U.P. Yoddhas

A much-needed win for the UP Yoddhas and they start off the Noida leg with a win first up in front of their home crowd. They had the lead at half time and did well to build on it even further. However, a substitution in the form of Sushil and a late surge by the Bulls allowed them to make a comeback in the contest, which got them within touching distance of a tie, or even perhaps a win. However, the Yoddhas held their nerves and ensured that they are the ones who go away with five points today. A proper edge-of-the-seat thriller and UP Yoddhas will be the happier side going home today! 

40' OH! Sushil goes in for a raid and corners both defenders. The UP Yoddhas defenders evade him with only two defenders on the mat. In the end, one of the defenders goes for a block. Sushil has no option but to return with it. A one-point win for the Yoddhas!

Bengaluru Bulls 33 - 34 U.P. Yoddhas

40' Sushil goes deep and gets a kick on the right corner and returns in a flash.

Do-or-die raid for the Yoddhas and Surender Gill comes in for it. He runs down the clock and is tackled! A solid block from Surjeet and Surender Gill is pinned down.

40' Sushil escapes from the right corner's attempted back hold and returns in a flash within seconds! The deficit is down to four points now.

39' Sushil goes deep and gets a toe-touch on Surender Gill in a flash. Can the Bulls still make a comeback?

Sushil with another point now as he escapes from the left cover's attempted ankle hold and drags himself back to the mid-line.

36' Aman goes for an ankle hold but Pardeep Narwal writhes his foot free and returns back to his half.

33' Sumit with another tackle point! He puts in a double ankle hold on the incoming Vikash Kandola, which pins the raider down.

On the other side, Pardeep goes deep and gets a hand touch on Saurabh Nandal in the right corner.

Neeraj Narwal tries a bonus point but it has not been awarded. However, Bulls review! They want the bonus to be given. He was cutting the black line there. No bonus. Review unsuccessful!

Vikash runs around and gets a running hand touch on Nitesh. However, Gurdeep from the cover comes with a solid dash and sends him out of bounds as Vikash attempts a dubki.

Pardeep is tackled again as Surjeet's double thigh hold brings him down in a flash! On the other side, Nitesh puts in another solid double thigh hold which brings down Bharat.

26' Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Neeraj Narwal returns with a bonus point just moments before the clock runs down.

24' Surjeet runs around with a block but Surender Gill pushes him aside and returns back to his half immediately.

On the other side, Surender Gill is tackled! And he is in pain as well! Saurabh Nandal with an ankle hold and Aman changes the direction of the raider and has held his neck. A green card awarded to Aman!

Bengaluru Bulls 16 - 21 U.P. Yoddhas

22' ALL OUT! Neeraj Narwal is allowed the bonus point but after that, an ankle hold is followed by the defense surrounding him and pinning him down.

A diving thigh hold attempted by Rohit from the left cover and Pardeep escapes! Tumbles and escapes!

Bharat, on the other side, picks up a bonus and immediately after, an ankle hold from Vijay Malik brings him down.

The Yoddhas go into the second half with all the momentum on their side now. After a slow start, the Yoddhas finally found their feet and started playing in a superior fashion. It was largely Surender Gill vs Bharat in the first half as both raiders lacked support from their teammates. However, a late surge from Pardeep Narwal saw him pick up his first point in his ninth raid, which did his confidence of world of good. He's been terrific in the final few minutes of the first half, which has reduced the Bulls down to one man. The Yoddhas will look to inflict the all out early and get a big lead while the Bulls will be hoping for a miraculous recovery. Which side will emerge on top? Stick around to find out!

12' Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Vikash Kandola comes in for it. However, he runs straight into the double thigh hold of Sumit in the left corner to pin down the raider.

An ankle hold from Aman on the incoming Pardeep Narwal and the right side of the defense is around in a flash for assistance!

6' Abhishek Singh comes in for a do-or-die raid and he perishes! Took far too long in the left corner and that allows Ashu to run around with a solid block and pin him down.

Do-or-die raid for the Yoddhas now and Pardeep Narwal shoulders responsibility but perishes! Tries to run around the right corner chain but a back hold from Vishal Lather brings him down.

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League, 2023. The forty-sixth match of the tournament will witness home side UP Yoddhas play at home after a gap of nearly four years as they take on the Bengaluru Bulls. 

The UP Yoddhas have not had the best of campaigns so far, quite surprisingly too. They have managed just two wins from seven matches so far and a tie. However, apart from that, it's not been anything that they would have expected. The Yoddhas have more problems on their hands than answers but with the home support and four games in quick succession provides them with an opportunity to turn it around. It will be interesting to see whether they can take advantage of the home support or whether they suffer the same fate as the Thalaivas. 

The Bengaluru Bulls haven't had it too much better than the Yoddhas. They have three wins to show from their eight encounters and are currently placed eighth in the points table. All three of their wins have come in the last four encounters and that speaks volumes about how the team's form is currently. They have gotten their campaign back on track after a dismal start and will be looking to carry on with the winning momentum and get their fourth win under their belt to rise up in the table.
