The scorecard is a perfect summary of how this game went. That's how one-sided it was. 

All eyes were on Pardeep Narwal as he took to the mat after a disappointing game against U Mumba, but the Record-Breaker looked to be in full flow, registering a Super 10, bringing back memories of him his heyday with a couple of fluent escapes and a dubki.

Surender Gill also impressed with a Super 10 of his own as Vijay Malik wasn't even required to raid. 

However, Sumit was the real star, as he registered 8 tackle points with a 100% tackle SR, and he literally didn't make a single mistake throughout the game! His partner in the right corner Nitesh Kumar looked to have regained his mojo after a quiet first game, and he finished with 4 tackle points, with the left cover Gurdeep also picking up a High 5.

Little in the way of positives for the Haryana Steelers whose raiders couldn't catch a break against the UP defense. Mohit Nandal was their best defender with 4 tackle points, but it was nowhere near enough from them in terms of levels of performance.

The penultimate day of the Ahmedabad leg of PKL 10 was one of one-sided contests, and it was a complete rout from the UP Yoddhas against the Steelers after the Pirates coasted to a win against the Titans.

Pardeep Narwal and Nitesh Kumar add points to their tallies as the Yoddhas refuse to relent even in the dying moments of this match. Haryana down to two men and Pardeep Narwal can get only one. Thankfully for the Steelers, they avoid a 5th all-out, but it's still a drubbing for them in their opening match of PKL 10 as the UP Yoddhas register a 30-point win!

Just when the Steelers were building some momentum, Sumit breaks it with his 8th tackle point of the night, and the Haryana raiders have looked clueless against him tonight. His timing and bravery has been impeccable.

Haryana will be pleased with that! Mohit Nandal helps his side send Pardeep Narwal back to the bench in a Super Tackle situation. Haryana still have three men on the mat and they'll want to avoid another all-out.

It's Gurdeep's turn to get a High 5 now, as puts in a crunching block on Siddharth Desai to get his 4th for the night. Haryana now shooting themselves in their foot as Vinay steps into the lobby without a touch. It's hard enough with an opponent on the rampage, but conceding points for free isn't going to help.

7th tackle point for Sumit, and he has not put one foot wrong tonight. It's all smiles in the Yoddhas camp as Sumit dives in with an ankle hold, while Vinay attempts the kick, brave tackle that. Siddharth Desai does get his first touch point of the night, escaping from an ambitious Nitesh Kumar ankle hold.

Pardeep Narwal then gets Jaideep Dahiya for a 4th time to get his Super 10! The Yoddhas seem intent on extending this lead into something big.

The carnage continues, and the Yoddhas are simply having fun here! Surender Gill puts in another two-point raid, while Nitesh Kumar gets his High Five with another well-timed tackle. Mohit Khaler finally gets a tackle point for the Steelers on the stroke of the strategic timeout as Pardeep is hauled off the mat. It's unlikely to make a difference now, though. 

Manpreet Singh will want his team to stop hemorrhaging points here and taking an even bigger blow to their confidence. They have ten minutes to reduce the deficit to a respectable one, can they do it?

4th all-out for UP, and Haryana just want this game to end here! Pardeep breezes away with a two-point raid in a Super Tackle situation, and Nitesh gets close to his High 5 to complete the all-out.

The substitute Prapanjan can't do much as Gurdeep puts in a well-timed block to register the third all-out of the night for the Yoddhas.

Complete domination from the UP Yoddhas on pretty much all fronts. Pardeep Narwal showing that the last game was just a blip, as he's moving around almost like this is the 5th or 6th season of PKL, and when he hasn't struck, Surender Gill has picked up the slack. Both raiders sit on 7 raid points, and the third raider Vijay Malik has only put in one raid so far.
It wasn't just about the raiders though, as the UP corners look to be in fine form this match. Sumit has 4 tackle points to his name with a 100% tackle strike rate while Nitesh Kumar has 3.

For the Steelers, Vinay has looked good in the raiding department, while Rahul Sethpal in the right corner has looked assured, but they have a lot of catching up to do in this second half. If not win, can they at least reduce the deficit to less than 7 points? We'll find out in the next 20.

Jaideep finally gets Pardeep, now could this spark a mini-comeback for the Steelers? Jaideep finally gets his timing right on the block-dash, and the rest of the defense is quick to support him.

At the other end, Vinay is brought down by Nitesh Kumar, and while he does get close to the mid-line, Surender Gill arrives in the nick of time to pull him back.

It's Surender Gill's turn now to put in a jaw-dropping raid! It's a 1v2 situation, and Rahul Sethpal gets a good grip on him, but Surender Gill uses brute strength to power his way to the mid-line to register UP's second all-out of the night!

Ohh, Pardeep Narwal is well and truly back. What a swift escape in a 1v4 situation. Advances deep on the left side, but is quick to pivot around on the onrushing right chain and makes it back to the mid-line.

Pardeep gets Jaideep Dahiya for the 3rd time, this time with a kick and great anticipation. At the other end, the electric Sumit is already on four tackle points for the night, with a stellar take down of Ashish. The Steelers keep themselves in the game, however, as Rahul Sethpal blindsided Surender Gill with a Super Tackle.

UP Yoddhas continue their rampage. Haryana strike first after the timeout as Mohit Khaler gets Pardeep, but Gurdeep pounces in a Do-or-Die situation for Haryana before Surender Gill picks up another point.

FYI, Siddharth Desai has been substituted out. Will we see more of the 'Bahubali' in this half?

Pardeep Narwal has had Jaideep's number today and is too quick for the retreating Haryana left cover. UP Yoddhas are running away with this as both their corners and their lead raiders have been in sublime form today. Surender Gill runs into the right corner and gets tackled, but Ashish loses his footing and goes beyond the end-line, and the Yoddhas retain their 9-point lead going into the first strategic timeout of this match.

Pardeep isn't the only player who's coming back to form, as Nitesh Kumar adds another to his tally with a well-timed ankle hold to tackle Ashish. Surender Gill picks up Jaideep, who's a sitting duck in a 1v2 situation. UP Yoddhas then get the all-out after Sumit picks up his 2nd tackle point of the night, and it's a well-deserved all-out for the Yoddhas here. They've looked really comfortable.

Ohh, Ashish puts in a crucial Super Tackle and brings down Pardeep Narwal. He goes in too deep and the Haryana all-rounder dives in with an ankle hold before Rahul comes in from the right to provide support.

So, a point is given to the UP Yoddhas for a self-out, while two points awarded to the Steelers for the Super Tackle. 

However, Haryana review the decision! The review is unsuccessful so the Steelers are still down to three.
