Tamil Thalaivas dominated proceedings right from their first raid as they managed to keep the Yoddhas under check, getting them all out thrice throughout the game. Their defence complemented their raiding department really well throughout the match and managed to get double the points whenever they conceded a single one.

Yoddhas had a substandard game overall and they will be looking to comeback stronger in their next game, recovering from their drubbing in this game. Pardeep Narwal will have to introspect as he had an off day. Vijay Malik did well to get a super 10, but that wasn't enough for the UP-based outfit.

40' Narender comes in to raid but is tackled by Nitish Kumar, Similarly, Samuel Wafula tries to get a bonus point but the right corner pushes him off the mat, courtesy of Sagar.

Gagana Gowda gets a touch point and pulls a point back in the favour of the Yoddhas. Vishal puts in a raid and manages to get a touch off Samuel Wafula.

Gagana Gowda manages to squeeze out of the ankle hold and add another point to the Yoddhas tally, which turns out to be their last raid of the game

UP Yoddhas 27 - 46 Tamil Thalaivas

38' A double anke hold from Sagar ensures that Pardeep Narwal returns to the bench. Samuel Wafula tries to get a bonus point but is tackled by the right cover.

A do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and it is Narender who gets Sumit and Gurdeep out, despite the two of them teaming up for a tough tackle

Shivam goes in for a raid and is dashed off the mat, resulting in a third all-out of the game

UP Yoddhas 24 - 42 Tamil Thalaivas

36' Sahil Gulia is out as Gagana Gowda gets a touch off him. Similarly for the Thalaivas, Narender gets a touch point off Vijay Malik, sending him to the bench

Gagana Gowda comes in for a raid and ends up conceding a point as he is dashed out by the defence

UP Yoddhas 24 - 35 Tamil Thalaivas

34' Vijay Malik continues to rake the points for the Yoddhas as he gets another point, this time with a touch off Mohit. Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas with Ajinkya Pawar going for the raid and he is tackled by the right corner

UP Yoddhas 23 - 33 Tamil Thalaivas

32' DO-OR-DIE Raid for the Thalaivas and it is Nitin Singh who gets tackled by the right corner, resulting in a SUPER TACKLE! UP Yoddhas get a bonus point in their do-or-die raid!

UP Yoddhas 21- 33 Tamil Thalaivas

30' DO-OR-DIE Raid for the Thalaivas with Nitin Sigh managing to get out of a tackle put in by Nitesh Kumar. Yet another unsuccessful raid for Pardeep Narwal as he is tackled by Ajinkya Pawar, sending him to the bench. With that, it will be time out!

UP Yoddhas 18 - 33 Tamil Thalaivas

28' Another all out for the Yoddhas as Narender manages to get the remaining two players off the mat to the bench. Sahil Gulia gets a high-5 and has proven to be the crucial played for the Thalaivas so far.

Vijay Malik gets a double-point raid and gets one back for his side. He goes in for yet another raid but is tackled by Sagar

UP Yoddhas 17 - 30 Tamil Thalaivas

26' Nitin Singh manages to get a touch off the defender and adds another point to the Thalaivas total. Their dominance continues as Sahil Gulia manages to tackle Vijay Malik and is successful.

UP Yoddhas 15 - 25 Tamil Thalaivas

24' Sahil Gulia continues to subdue the Pardeep Narwal threat as he goes for the double thigh hold and is successful. A double point raid for Narender as he manages to send both the left corner and cover to the bench

Vijay Malik gets a touch point and gets one back for his side

UP Yoddhas 15 - 22 Tamil Thalaivas

22' Gagana Gowda comes into raid for the Yoddhas and manages to get a bonus point for his side. Nitin Singh goes in for a raid but is tackled by the right corner. A good start so far for the Yoddhas continues as Vijay Malik gets a touch off Mohit

UP Yoddhas 14 - 19 Tamil Thalaivas

Half time: UP Yoddhas 11 - 19 Tamil Thalaivas

UP Yoddhas are slowly but surely crawling back into the contest. They had a very sub-ordinary start, trailing by 5 points, but since then have managed to string a comeback of sorts. Currently, the deficit between the two sides stands at 8 points.

UP Yoddhas will want more from their raiders. So far, Dubki King Pardeep Narwal has managed to get only a couple of points out of the 8 raids he has had so far. Vijay Malik is the highest point scorer for them and he will want more support from his other raiders.

Tamil Thalaivas have upped their defence by more than a notch and will be looking to carry a similar sort of momentum into the second half.

16' Vijay goes in for a raid and gets a touch point off Mohit. Narender comes in to raid for the Thalaivas and manages to get a point back for his side.

Vijay looks to follow up his previous raid but an ankle hold from the right corner sends him to the bench

UP Yoddhas 9 - 18 Tamil Thalaivas

14' DO-OR-DIE RAID for the Thalaivas. Ajinkya Pawar takes the onus of this raid but is tackled by the left corner defender. Do-or-die raid for the Yoddhas as well and Pardeep is tackled by the left corner. A slight hold up in play as there is a concussion check for M Abhishek, who is subbed off for Aashish

UP Yoddhas 8 - 16 Tamil Thalaivas

12' DO-OR-DIE RAID for the Yoddhas and it is Pradeep Narwal who gets it done, with a touch point.

A do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas as well with Ajinkya Pawar getting a touch point on the right cover.

Surinder goes for the raid but is dashed out of play following a complete team effort by the Thalaivas

UP Yoddhas 7 - 15 Tamil Thalaivas

10' Pardeep Narwal gets a touch point, his first of this game so far after a couple of unsuccessful raids. Narender manages to get a bonus point but is dashed off the mat. We have the first time out of the match, following an empty raid from Surender.

UP Yoddhas 6 - 13 Tamil Thalaivas

8' We have the first ALL-OUT of the game as Vijay Malik goes in to raid with two men on the mat and gets tackled, following which as simple surrender raid gives the Thalaivas an all out!

UP Yoddhas 2 - 9 Tamil Thalaivas

6'  Narender gets a touch off Nitesh Kumar, adding another point to the Thalaiva's tally. Surender goes in to raid and gets a point. Immediately, he is subbed off for a defender.

Ajinkya Pawar has yet another successful raid as he gets a touch point

UP Yoddhas 2 - 6 Tamil Thalaivas

4' Vijay Malik steps up for the Yoddhas as he gets a running hand touch off the left cover. Narender gets a bonus point and manages to touch the half line just in the nick of time.

Pardeep Narwal goes in for his second raid of the game and is tackled yet again.

UP Yoddhas 1 - 5 Tamil Thalaivas

2'  Narender kicks the proceedings for the Thalaivas with an empty raid. For the Yoddhas, Pardeep Narwals steps into the Thalaivas half and the defender sends him to the bench, courtesy of an ankle hold.

Ajinkya Pawar comes in for the second raid and gets a running hand touch, giving the Thalaivas another point in the opening minutes of the match

UP Yoddhas 0 - 2 Tamil Thalaivas

A huge boost ahead of a crucial clash for the Yoddhas as Surender Gill returns to the starting 7. He suffered an injury against Dabang Delhi K.C. and the games he missed resulted in a loss for the Yoddhas. He is bound to make a positive impact in today's match.
