The teams will be drawn into six groups of four sides each, in a format similar to UEFA Euro 2016. The top two teams will qualify directly for the knockout stages, along with the four best third-placed teams.

India are all set for their fourth ever AFC Asian Cup Campaign next year, and their group is set to be decided tonight, at Dubai, UAE.
The Blue Tigers have had a fantastic run over the last two years, defeating strong sides like Puerto Rico and the Kyrgyz Republic. In fact, they went on a 13-match unbeaten run over this period, as they ensured qualification for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
This supreme performance has seen Stephen Constantine’s men rise to no. 97 in the FIFA World Rankings. This rise in the rankings has helped India gain a spot in Pot 3, something that will aid them avoid the likes of Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Palestine, Oman and Vietnam in the group stage.
