...
Bengaluru FC will take on Bhutanese side Transport United FC in the second leg of the AFC Cup Preliminary Round at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, India.

The first leg in Bhutan finished 0-0 in an encounter that saw Transport United FC assert home advantage. Although they failed to score against a depleted Bengaluru side, which missed the likes of Sunil Chhetri amongst others, they gave a solid display of attacking football.

If Bengaluru FC wins the second leg, they will progress to the playoff match for the AFC Cup spot in the Group. They will face the winner of the preliminary round match between the second placed clubs from the Maldives' Dhivehi Premier League and Bangladesh Football Premier League.

It is expected that the home side will be able to stamp their authority and progress to the next round.
