Ajay's aggressive display is doing the trick along with some controlled defensive play. He cannot afford to relax though as Yuxiang did reach the final of the Indonesian Masters just a few days back.
Ajay extends the lead to 16-12.
Jayaram is looking extremely focussed and is in total control of the proceedings. He is now ahead 14-10.

And he keeps on bagging the points for an 11-7 lead at the interval.
Jayaram now starting to assert himself and he grabs the next two points to jump to 9-7.

Ajay, however, soon wrestles back the momentum to take the next two points to lead 7-6
Once more the rallies are getting longer and this time, it is Yuxiang who comes out on top. He leads 6-5.
The early exchanges are once more hard-fought and the two are locked at 4-4
That rattles Yuxiang who quickly concedes the next point as well.
It is a long rally and Ajay's defensive skills are shining bright. He levels 2-2
