The Russia Women Compound team defeated fourth seeds United States of America in the previous round by a score of 233 to 231. The Russian team is made up of three archers- NATALIA AVDEEVA, VIKTORIA BALZHANOVA, and ALEXANDRA SAVENKOVA The Indian Women Compound team is currently seeded eighth in the competition and will look to progress to the finals as they face Russian Women's Compound team.
