A disappointing end for the India duo of Aruna Budda Reddy and Pranati Nayak, who finish second-last and last respectively. Here are the final standings from the Women's Vault finals.

Yeo finishes with an average of 14.387 to win the Women's Vault finals!

A magnificent effort from the 16-year old, who beats the 43-year old second placed Oksana Chusovitina by a 0.1 margin!

The final contestant is Republic of Korea's Seojeong Yeo. 

A positive 14.525 start for the Korean which is followed by a 14.250 effort!

Chinese Taipei's Fang Ko-Ching is next up.

13.525 on her first try and a 12.850 attempt on her second try. Finishes with an average of 13.187.

Uzbekistan's Oksana Chusovitina is next in line. 

Perfect landing on her first attempt to score 14.350 on her first try and does even better on her second try, a 14.225 attempt and she sports a wide grin and blows a kiss to the cameras. 

Oksana currently leads the pack with an average of 14.287.

What has happened here? Pranati looked a bit rushed there, initially tried the somersault then twisted, didn't look too convincing as she walked off teary-eyed from the stage. A second attempt worth 12.575. 

An average of 12.625 for Pranati Nayak.

Oh, no! Pranati jumps, attempt a twisted somersault but does not get enough on it and lands on her stomach. 

Not a great first attempt that, as she scores 12.725 from that effort.

Wow! What a comeback from Aruna! Executes the perfect jump, attempts a double twist and nails the landing! 

First attempt fetches Aruna Reddy an average of 12.775.

The 2018 Asian Games are underway as a strong Indian contingent contest in over forty sports in Jakarta & Palembang.

The 4th day of the multi-sporting extravaganza was excellent for India. Rahi Sarnobat won another gold in shooting by bagging the top spot in the Women's 25m Pistol event. The shooter from Kolhapur has created history by becoming India's first female shooter to win Gold in an individual event at Asiad. India also bagged 4 medals in Wushu on Day 4, taking their total medal tally to 15.

Earlier on Day 5, Ankita Raina (WR 189) bagged a Bronze medal as she went down against Zhang Shuai (WR 34). She fought valiantly against the Chinese Number eventually lost 6-4, 7-6(6). Meanwhile, the Men's doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan made it to the Final of the event and are have ensured at least a Silver medal for India.

India's 15-year-old shooter Shardul Vihan also bagged a Silver in the  Men's Double Trap Final and took the total tally to 17.

Gymnastics action continues on Day 5 and India will see only two gymnasts - Aruna Budda Reddy and Pranati Nayak - in action in the Women's Vault FINAL.
