Dutee Chand did take the lead in the start and steamed away from the rest of the pack before Bahrain's Odiong pulled through to clinch the gold medal.

We now await the result, Dutee is in line for a silver medal!

He stepped out of the lane but he still might have a chance to retain his medal.
