The eighteenth edition of the pan-Asian games come to us from Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang, where over five hundred and fifty Indian sportspersons will try to win medals for the country.
Day Two of the Asian Games was action-packed as India won a few medals. Vinesh Phogat won the Gold medal in Women's wrestling, while Deepak Kumar and Lakshay won the Silver in Shooting.
Day 3 has already seen Indians winning 4 medals, 3 of them in shooting alone - with Saurabh Chaudhary winning GOLD in 10m Air Pistol, Abhishek Kumar winning Bronze in the same event and Sanjeev Rajput bagging a Silver in 50m Air Rifle 4 Positions.
The Indian Men's Regu team also won a historical Bronze medal in Sepaktakraw.
Gymnastics action continues at the Asian Games and the Indian women will be seen in action for the first time. Dipa Karmakar, Aruna Budda Reddy, Pranati Das, Pranati Nayak and Mandira Chowdhury form the Indian team.
