Hello, and welcome to our coverage of the women's Handball event, as India take on North Korea in the preliminary round.

The men's team has already played their first match yesterday, where they achieved a 45-19 victory against Malaysia. Now, it remains to be seen whether the women's team can match up to the expectations as well.

Two gold medals have come from wrestling, with Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat clinching superiority in their respective categories.

Meanwhile, shooting has brought the rest of the 6 medals, with the likes of Deepak Kumar, Lakshay Sheoran and the pairing of Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar winning the medals.

Last to grab medals for India were Abhishek Verma (Bronze) and Saurabh Chaudhary (Gold), both in the Men's 10m Air Pistol Final event.
