Hello, and welcome to our coverage of the Kayaking events from the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia. India are participating in a couple of the events -- Men's K4 500m and and Men's K2 100m sprint.
As we are well settled into the 2nd and concluding week of the Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games, things have picked up speed considerably. After a slow first few days, India is seeing as far as 9 medals being clinched in a single day on such a major platform of the Games.
With Sindhu settling for a silver against Tai Tzu Ying and the Archery teams making peace with a silver finish to Jinson Johnson and Manjit Singh also winning in 800 m, Tuesday turned out to be the most profitable day on the podium for the athletes.
After such a brilliant day yesterday, the Indians will set forth in their boats to row as we begin with Kayak Four(K4) 500m Men Heats and Kayak Double (K2) 1000m Mens where Naocha Singh and Ching Singh Arambam will be participating and hoping to keep medal hopes alive in canoeing.
