The eighteenth edition of the pan-Asian games come to us from Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang, where over five hundred and fifty Indian sportspersons will try to win medals for the country.

Yet again, Day Three of the Games brought medals and some progression for India.

There were a total of five medals won by Indians on the third day of the Asian Games. Abhishek Verma and the young 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary won the Bronze and Gold, respectively, in Men's 10m Air Pistol finals. Sanjeev Rajput won a Silver in 50m 3 positions finals. India also won its first ever medal in Sepak Takraw, Bronze being its colour. Finally, there was yet another medal in wrestling with Divya Kakran winning the Bronze. There were good results in Tennis with a lot of progressions for the Indians and a great result in Hockey where the Indian women's team thrashed Kazakhstan defeating them by 21-0.

Meanwhile, plenty of rowing action continues on Day 4.

India's Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh will be in action in Men's Lightweight Double Sculls Repechages. India will also see representation in Women's Four (team - Annu, Sanjukta Dung Dung, Navneet Kaur, Yamini Singh) and Men's Lightweight Eight Repechages.
