The Asian Games is one of the few events where we can see a number of sports that are not so popular. One such sport is sepak takraw.

Bening a sport that combines the attributes of both volleyball and football, sepak takraw makes for an interesting watch, especially for the fans, who are often treated to some skillful play by the players from the two sides.

While the sport is quite popular in South-East Asia, India has also been decent in sepak takraw over the past years.

With the Asian Games getting underway, the Indian sepak takraw team is now set to take on the Koreans in their Women's team Regu preliminary Group A match. Incidentally, this is the only match that India will be playing in the sport, on the first day of the games, at Jakarta-Palembang.

Can the Indian girls earn the much-needed victory over the team from the east? Let's wait and watch.
