Day 6 was the best day for India in terms of the medals won, with a total of 7 coming home! India's team of Sawarn Singh, Daatu Bhokanal, Daatu Bhokanal, and Sukhmeet Singh won GOLD Men's Quadruple Sculls. Dushyant also bagged a Bronze medal for India in Rowing -- Men's Lightweight Single Sculls. Another Bronze came as Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh finished third in the Final of Men's Lightweight Double Sculls. India’s Shooting sensation Heena Sidhu finished third in Women's 10m Air Pistol to bag Bronze!

India’s Tennis Men's Doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan grabbed the GOLD medal after defeating Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik & Denis Yevseyev 6-3, 6-4 in the Final. Meanwhile, Prajnesh Gunneswaran's loss in the Men's Singles Semis meant that the ace Indian player would have to settle for a Bronze medal.
