Asian Games 2018 Shooting Day 3 Live Score: Saurabh Chaudhary wins Gold , Sanjeev claims Silver

It was a memorable day for India in shooting as they finished with a Gold, Silver and Bronze medal. The gold came courtesy of a 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary in the 10m Air Pistol who also set an Asian Games record in the process. Lebanon finish with Gold, Chinese Taipei take silver and China walk away with Bronze.

Lebanon win their first gold medal of Asian Games 2018. Ray Bassil keeps her cool and wins it for Lebanon in the Trap Mixed Team.

After 45 shots, nothing can separate Chinese Taipei and Lebanon. The scores are level at 38. Who will get the gold?

China finish with Bronze and it will be between Chinese Taipei and Lebanon for the gold medal and both teams have hit the same number of shots.

It will be between Lebanon, Chinese Taipei and China for the gold medal with Lebanon leading the way.

Kuwait finish fourth, Korea finish fifth and the three medalists have been finalised.

India have been eliminated. Despite a stellar effort from Lakshay, it wasn't enough as India finished sixth.

Chinese Taipei lead the way and China and Lebanon are tied for second spot. India finish last despite Lakshay finishing with five successive shots.

India are now left with an impossible task to climb out of the last spot. They need to make all five and hope Korea and Kuwait miss four out of their last five shots.

After 20 rounds, Chinese Taipei lead the way with 18. Lebanon are second with 17 while three teams are tied for third with 15. India are bottom despite Shreyasi hitting three out of five.

Chinese Taipei are in a league of their own. They have finally missed one. But they still lead by two. India remain bottom.

Chinese Taipei remain perfect. They have hit 10 out of 10. But Shreyasi Singh misses four in a row and India are last after 10 rounds.

After the first five rounds, Chinese Taipei lead the way after hitting all five. China, Lebanon, Korea and India have all hit four out of five.

The first round sees all six countries hit their target. But in round two, China, India and Kuwait miss.

Pair from each countries will shoot 25 rounds. The shooter who goes first will have to shoot 15 rounds and the second shooter will have to shoot 10 rounds.

For India, it will be Lakshay who shoots 15 rounds and Shreyasi Singh will shoot 10 rounds.

And we are now all set to get underway in the Trap Mixed Team Final.

It will be China, Chinese Taipei, Lebanon, Korea, India and Kuwait who will compete for the gold medal in the Trap Mixed Team Final.

The Trap Mixed Team Final is scheduled for 2.30 PM IST and India will have to wait a little before they can add to their impressive medal tally in shooting.

Next up is the Trap Mixed Team Finals as India look to add to their medals tally in shooting.

It was very close right till the end but Sanjeev Rajput picks up the SILVER medal for India who claim their sixth medal in shooting in this Asian Games.

Final standings

Sanjeev Rajput holds his nerve and now is assured of at least silver as Japan's Takayuki Matsumoto is eliminated as they take bronze.

India assured of a medal as China's Yang Hooran has been eliminated.

Four shooters have been eliminated and Sanjeev is currently in third.

Iran and two shooters from Thailand have been eliminated.

And the elimination begins now. One shooter eliminated after each shot.

After 40 shots, Sanjeev still leading the way.

Sanjeev Rajput got progressively better in this round. He finishes with scores of 8.5, 9.8, 10.1, 10.1 and 10 in this round of five shots.

He still leads the way.

Now the shooters will make all the necessary changes before the next round of shots.

A perfect 10.9 from Sanjeev Rajput and his lead is up to 3 points.

After 30 shots, India lead the way

After 25 shots, Sanjeev Rajput is still in the lead.

Despite a bad shot, Sanjeev manages to string some good scores together to finish top after 20 shots.

Now the shooters will make all the necessary changes before the next round of shots.

Two terrible shots, including a 7.8 and 9.4 in succession means that Sanjeev Rajput is no longer in top. It is Kazakhstan who lead now.

And it is finally official, India are through to the finals of the Trap Mixed Team as they finish fifth.

The biggest story so far has to be Saurabh Chaudhary, who is making everyone question their life choices that led them to the moment when they were watching a cheering a 16-year-old make history and win Asian Games GOLD.
