Two Indian weightlifters were in contention when the day began and an unfortunate injury to Commonwealth Games Gold medalist Satish Kumar Sivalingam meant that he finished 10th. With India's best medal hope gone, Ajay Singh did well to lift 327kg but he fell short of bronze by 14kg. And that ends the wrestling action on day 5. Join us again tomorrow.

Ajay Singh finishes in fifth place in the men’s 77 kg category with a total lift of 327 kg. In comparison, North Korea won gold with 348kg, South Korea took silver with 347kg and Thailand took bronze with 341 kg.
