The Asian Kabaddi Championships enter their second day of action and will see the conclusion of the group stages of the competition in both the men's and the women's section. After a thunderous start to their campaign, the Indian men's kabaddi side will look to build on their performance and secure top spot in the group that features Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Japan. 
 
On Friday, they began in fine style as Iraq were defeated by a comfortable 61-21 margin, with eight different players scoring in defence and eight different scorers in attack. Pardeep Narwal was India's highest raid points scorer, finishing with a total of six points. In defence, Surjeet completed a high 5 from the cover position. Nitin Tomar chipped in with a total of six points - three raid and three tackle points.
