And Ferrer's short fight back has now gone quickly downhill.. trailing 2-5, he's serving to stay in the match as Murray will look to break for the first men's semi-final spot.

It's looking grim for the Spaniard, who ousted Nadal in the first round and has put in consistently strong performances since, beating each of his previous competitors in straight sets.

And Ferrer finally breaks back and holds! He's looked a little down on energy and certainly not as powerful as a determined Murray, but appears to be in the fight still as Murray leads now leads 3-2.

The pair are now in the fourth set of the match, with Murray up a break as he leads 2 games to love.

Victoria Azarenka was knocked out in the quarterfinals of the competitions by Angelique Kerber who beat her 6-3 7-5
