And it's all over! Milos Raonic has made the semi-finals of the Australian Open for the first time in his career, beating Gael Monfils 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4

Phenomenal from the Frnechman! He's adopted Raonic's own big serves, which are faltering for the Canadian, and is up a break in the second set. He leads it 4-2.

This might not be so straightforward after all! Monfils now looks set to break Raonic to take the lead.

Both held to go 2-2 in the second set, but Monfils plays a strong game to lead 3-2.

Raonic has played some seriously impressive tennis so far.. with his big serves and strong game, he looks set to put up a fight.

And after a bit of a struggle, it's finally set Raonic! He's up a set - 6-3.

And now it's a THIRD set point for Milos Raonic.. and he misses! The pair are now at deuce.

It's set point for Milos Raonic - will he take an early jump over Monfils?

Raonic leads 5-3, and will now serve for the set.

Each player held serve to go 2-1 - but now Raonic has taken charge to take a 4-1 lead after holding and breaking.

The contest between the pair is evenly matched, with the two having played a total of 8 times in the past.

Earlier in the year, Raonic also took a title victory at the Brisbane International, beating Roger Federer in straight sets.

Big-serving Canadian Raonic has been in great form this year, and comes off a 5-set upset of 4th seed Stan Wawrinka.
