...
The Tigers win by 6 runs!
The Tigers lost their way after a promising start before Frylinck ensured they got to three figures and set a par target for the Warriors to chase. In reply, the Warriors also started off well before they lost steam in the middle overs, with Russell finding it tough to impose himself. And, by the time the West Indian found his range, it was probably a touch too late.
...
9.6: Wiese finishes it off in style!
Wiese pulls out another top-notch yorker and seals the deal for the Bangla Tigers. Exceptional bowling by the fast-bowler. He held his nerve superbly and ensured the Tigers posted an improbable victory.
...
9.5: Wiese bowls another top yorker as the ball zips past Emrit's attempted slog. The batsmen though scamper through for a single. 7 needed off the final delivery.
...
9.4: Wiese nails his yorker as Billings can only manage a single. Warriors need 8 off 2 now. Surely they aren't going to win it from here, are they? Emrit on strike.
...
9.3: Billings keeps the Warriors in the hunt!
Billings thumps a length delivery into the mid-wicket fence to reduce the target to 9 off 3 balls. Rossouw should've done better on the boundary.
...
9.2: Wiese is holding his nerve!
Wiese bowls another slower delivery and gets the better of Green. The batsman tries to launch it over mid-wicket but only finds Rossouw on the fence. Top over by Wiese so far. Warriors still require 13 off 4.
...
9.1: Wiese knocks over Sammy!
Wiese bowls a slower delivery on a length outside the off-stump. The ball is in the slot to be hit but Sammy is deceived by the pace and he misses it altogether. The delivery knocks back off-stump and the Warriors are 5 down, needing 13 off 5 balls.
...
8.6: A boundary to finish the over!
Billings slices another full deliver outside the off-stump but this time, it beats the third man fielder to his right. That's an enormous over for the Warriors. They now need 13 off the final over. This is getting very interesting.
...
8.5: Billings flashes and gets a boundary!
Billings scythes a ball outside the off-stump and the ball flies off the outside edge for a four. 17 off 7 now.
...
8.4: Perera sends Russell packing!
Perera bowls another full delivery outside the off-stump and it leads to Russell's undoing. He tries to blitz it past the fielder at cover but only manages to hit it down the throat of Plunkett, who is in the ring. Massive wicket for the Tigers.
...
8.3: Another boundary for Russell!
Perera goes wide this time but Russell is up to it. He unfurls a majestic bat swing, lifts his left leg and carves the ball past point for four. Warriors now need 22 off 9 balls.
...
8.2: RussellMania is running wild!
The bowler misses his yorker just a touch and Russell hammers it down the ground for another six.
...
7.6: Is RussellMania finally in town?
Russell clears his hip and absolutely clatters a full delivery on the leg stump over mid-wicket for six. That has brought down the target to 33 runs off 12 balls. And, if Russell can find similar hits, the Warriors could be home. Don't go anywhere folks, this game is far from over!
...
7.5: Gunaratne perishes!
Gunaratne tries to loft the ball over the square leg fence but can't generate enough power to beat Fletcher at the boundary, who safely pouches the chance.
...
7.3: Right then, Russell is slowly getting his timing back!
Russell sizes up a length delivery and pummels it over wide long-on for six. He didn't time that properly but he doesn't really need to, does he?
...
7.2: Russell finally gets one away!
Russell clears his front leg and mows the ball through the mid-wicket region for four.
...
7.1: Frylinck bowls a cracking yorker as Russell is again unable to get under it. Another dot ball for the West Indian. He is now 14 off 18. Unbelievable.
...
Only 3 runs come off the 7th over and the Warriors are well and truly on the back foot now. Barring a heroic intervention by Russell, this game seems to be going only one way. They now need 51 in 3 overs.
...
6.5: Perera bowls a perfect wide-yorker just that finishes inside the tramlines as Russell is still left searching for his first maximum.
...
5.6: Qais errs on the fuller side and Gunaratne takes full toll. He plants his front foot and shovels the ball past long on for four. Much needed boundary for the Warriors. They now require 54 runs in 4 overs.
...
5.1: Qais bowls a bouncer, would you believe it!
Qais bowls a seam-up delivery and bowls a bumper at Russell. Russell didn't have his helmet on and immediately calls for it in the aftermath of the event. Right then, what does this contest have in store for us now?
...
An excellent over by Plunkett as only four runs come off the 5th over. That means that the Warriors now need 61 runs off the remaining 5, meaning that the game is tantalisingly poised. Warriors are 42/2 after 5 overs.
...
4.2: Russell waits an eternity for a slower delivery before mistiming it towards the deep cover fielder. The batsman could have had a cup of tea in that span. T10 cricket never ceases to amaze.
...
A tidy over by Qais as only 6 runs come off the 4th over. That has partly set the Warriors back and it would be interesting to see how Russell responds to this slight drop in run-rate.
...
3.2: Qais Ahmed gets the breakthrough!
Qais tosses the ball up and Simmons can't resist the temptation. He tries to maul him over the leg-side but can't get enough timing on his shot. Rossouw comes around at deep mid-wicket and completes a catch. The Warriors are 34/2 now.
...
2.6: Another catch goes down, this time it's Ingram!
Simmons laces a pull shot but is only able to find the man at deep square leg. Luckily for him though, Ingram grasses the opportunity and both the Warriors batsmen earn a reprieve in the 3rd over. The score is 32/1 at the end of the over.
...
2.3: Plunkett drops Russell! Oh dear! How costly is this going to be?
Russell mistimes his hoick over the leg-side and the ball goes miles up in the air. Plunkett calls early and signals to those around him to leave it for him. Unfortunately though, he barely gets his hands to it and Russell survives.
...
2.2: Russell is off the mark!
Russell picks up a slower delivery outside the off-stump and marauds it past the cover point fielder for four. It was slightly uppish but no fielder was ever getting close to it.
...
After going the journey in the opening half of the over, Wiese recovered to dismiss Pooran and then keep the scoring rate down. Only 9 came off that over and the Warriors are 26/1 after 2 overs.
...
1.4: Wiese has the last laugh!
Wiese persists with the length deliveries and this time, he gets it in line with the stumps. Pooran clears his hip and looks to mow it over the leg-side. But, he completely misses the ball and it crashes into off-stump. The Warriors lose their 1st wicket with the scoreboard reading 24.
...
1.3: Pooran sizes up a slower delivery wide outside the off-stump and thumps it over cover for a boundary. He got into position early and that enabled him to lift it over the in-field.
...
1.2: Pooran gets underway with a four!
He makes room for himself and thrashes a square cut over the backward point region for four.
...
0.6: 16 runs off the first over!
Frylinck again drifts onto the pads and Simmons has no problem tickling it past fine leg for the fourth four of the over. The Warriors are 16/0 after 1 over. What a start!
...
0.4 Simmons is in a hurry!
Simmons backs away and brings out the pull shot. The ball is short and does not have enough pace to trouble the batsman. Simmons easily dispatches it to pick up his 2nd four of the over.
...
0.2: Two fours in succession!
This time, the thigh pad does its bit as the ball pings off the thigh pad and beats fine leg before hitting the advertising triangle. Rollicking start for the Warriors.
...
0.1: Lendl Simmons starts off with a four!
Simmons makes room for himself and cuts the ball past backward point to open his tally with a boundary.
...
The players are back out!
...
The Tigers' innings flowed through three phases. While they managed 40 in their opening four overs, they endured a shocking four-over spell thereafter, which left them tottering at 65/6. However, sensational hitting from Frylinck ensured that they reached three figures and put up a par total on the board.

Do join us in a bit for the Warriors' reply!
...
9.6: Frylinck finishes the innings with a four!
Frylinck makes a bit of room for himself and crashes a square cut past the fielder at cover to end the innings with a four. He's played a gem of an innings here. He finishes with 36 off 12 balls and the Bangla Tigers have negotiated their way to 102/6.
...
9.5: Six for Frylinck!
Wood bowls a length delivery and Frylinck absolutely clatters it over his head. Green tries his best on the fence to prevent a six but to no avail.
...
9.3: Second boundary in the over for Frylinck!
Frylinck flays his arms outside the off-stump and the ball takes a thick outside edge to fly over the third man fielder in the ring. The Tigers are now 92/6.
...
9.1: Frylinck starts the final over with a four!
Frylinck carves the ball over the off-side ring and it somehow spins after pitching in the outfield. Consequently, it beats Sam Billings on the fence who looks as bewildered as those watching. The Tigers wouldn't mind though.
...
An expensive over by Junaid as 19 runs come off it. From the Tigers' perspective though, that was exactly the kind of over they were looking for. With another 10-12 run over, they would've ensured a par-total on the board. They are now 84/6 with an over to go.
...
8.4: Another boundary!
Frylinck gives himself room and carves a back of a length delivery over the fielder at point to collect a four. This is brilliant batting. Much needed runs for the Tigers.
...
8.3: Two sixes in succession!
Junaid bowls a full delivery on the leg-stump and Frylinck is all over it. He plants his front foot and launches the ball over long-on for six. The Tigers are now 77/6.
...
8.2: Frylinck frees his arms and sends the ball soaring over the point region for six. He opened the bat face at the last moment to ensure that he got the requisite placement. Top shot.
...
A wonderful over by Pradeep comes to an end. He conceded only 6 runs and prized out Perera and Wiese. The Tigers now find themselves at 65/6 with a couple of overs remaining.
...
7.4: Pradeep runs Wiese out!
Pradeep picks up the ball on his follow through, lines up his throw and thuds the ball into the stumps at the bowler's end. And, Wiese is also sent packing. The Tigers are unravelling rather spectacularly here. They are now 64/6.
...
7.3: Another streaky boundary for Wiese!
Pradeep again hurries the batsman with a short delivery as Wiese gets a top edge on his attempted pull shot. The deflection just evades Pooran and races away for a four.
