Job done for Barcelona, who go through to the semifinals of the Copa del Rey. It wasn't always easy, with La Real looking great offensively on the night. Messi and Luis Suarez were fantastic through, with Arda and Denis grabbing the goals too.

90+3' Arda leads another counter-attack and is clattered into after releasing Messi on the left, but the ref waves play on. The Argentine wizard is held in the box, but the ref has mercy and does not award a penalty.

90+2' Nearly! Luis Suarez is inches away from making it six, after Arda Turan sent in a low cross from the left, with Raul Navas getting a touch. The referee blows for a goal-kick though.

90+1' Juanmi goes down in the box after a challenge from behind, but the referee had already blown for the forward being offside.

90' 3 minutes of added time.

89' Luis Suarez and Rail Navas tussle with each other while challenging for a long ball. They looked to have fouled each other, morphing into one writhing entity with arms intertwined, and the referee waves play on.

85' Almost! Juanmi nearly continues the carnage, sending a curling effort just wide off the goal. Moments later, Messi sends Vidal through on the right, but Rulli charges out to deny him!

82' This is exhibition stuff! Messi sends Denis Suarez clear into the box. He takes a touch past a diving Rulli and slots it home into an empty net with his left foot. Barcelona 5-2 Real Sociedad (agg: 6-2)

80' Game over! Messi spreads the ball out wide to Vidal in acres of space, and he responds with a low cross into the far post. Luis Suarez misses the ball, but Arda Turan slides in behind him to tuck the ball home. Barcelona 4-2 Real Sociedad (agg 5-2)

79' Jordi Alba is rolling about in pain after being tackled by Inigo making a vital sliding tackle to deny Alba from progressing down the left. The Barca fullback appears to have recovered.

76' Messi almost comes up with an instant response, leaving multiple La Real defenders in his wake after a mesmerising run, but his shot on goal is blocked out for a corner. Barca are unable to create anything from the set-piece.

75' La Real make a change, bringing on Odriozola for Elustondo, with Arda Turan coming on for Neymar.

75' OOOH! Juanmi collects a long ball from the left and goes down in the box under pressure from Umtiti, but the referee waves play on.

73' Well well! Real Sociedad give their fans some hope! Elustondo sends in an early cross from the right and Willian Jose runs onto the delivery, hanging in the air to head the ball past Jasper and score La Real's second of the night. Barcelona 3-2 Real Sociedad (agg: 4-2)

71' WHAT A INTERCEPTION! Gerard Pique prevents a certain goal after Canales looked to have sent Juanmi through with a chipped ball, only for Pique to stretch out and hook the ball away for a throw in. All while off balance. Magnifico!

68' Juanmi has made a real difference to Real Sociedad after coming on, really troubling Pique and Umtiti with his clever movement of the ball.

63' Well, that's Real Sociedad's dreams of a comeback completely and utterly obliterated. Messi displays great control to play a through ball to Luis Suarez down the middle, and he responds with a calm finish past Rulli to restore Barcelona's lead. Barcelona 3-1 Real Sociedad (agg: 4-1)

60' A bit of controversy about that penalty call, as Luis Suarez appeared to have handled the ball in the build up to the foul on Neymar.

59' ALMOST! Willian Jose pings a beautiful cross from the left with Oyarzabal running into the box at the far post, but the pass is inches away from connecting with the Sociedad forward's head.

57' Juanmi comes on to replace Carlos Vela, with Sergio Canales also replaceing Xabi Prieto, as Eusebio goes all out in attack.

52' Boos ring out at the Camp Nou as Oyarzabal inexplicably goes down after appearing to have been clipped on his ankles from behind by Pique. The referee awards a free-kick, which is sent into the box by Vela, but Barca get the ball out of danger.

50' Luis Suarez has caused a bit of a stir after elbowing Yuri in his stomach as the two tangled. After a ton of arguments on either side, the referee opts to correctly book the Uruguayan.

49' Alba makes his way back onto the pitch and is immediately called into action to deal with a diagonal ball forward. His noggin seems to be in good working order, as Alba clears it with no fuss.

48' Alba seems fit enough to continue, although Barcelona might opt to be careful with a head injury as he walks off the field. Play resumes with Barca down to 10 men.

46' The visitors win a corner right from the off. Carlos Vela swings in a great inswinging cross, with Elustondo rising highest to head the ball over the bar. Jordi Alba seems to have been injured while challenging him in the air, having take a blow to his face and is receiving treatment.

HT: Aleix Vidal comes on to replace Sergi Roberto, who may have picked up an injury, according to initial reports.

43' Eusebio Sacristan is livid on the touchline as the referee books Yuri for a foul on Sergi Roberto, with Oyarzabal bursting down the left. Seemed like a harsh call at first glance, but replays showed the ref got it right.

41' Amidst all the handbags, Jordi Alba was also booked for dissent.

40' FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! Neymar and Carlos Vela get into a bit of a fight after the Brazilian reacts poorly to Vela's challenge. The Mexican slaps Neymar but gets away with just a yellow card, as the ref books Neymar too.

39' Andre Gomes is a bit lucky to escape a card after elbowing Inigo in the face, but the referee ignores the foul. Barcelona steam up the pitch moments later and earn a corner after Suarez' shot on goal is saved.

37' Illarramendi shows why Real Madrid signed him with a gorgeous Pirlo-esque through ball from deep to Carlos Vela roving up front. The Mexican cannot match the speed and size of Umtiti, and is shoved off the ball.
