Ugly scenes as there is a massive brawl that breaks out with both benches clearing and getting at it! Bengaluru really can't handle this recent run of results, and the strain is showing!!

It was a superb match that was decided by four things - calamitous BFC defending, lackadaisical BFC finishing, ruthless East Bengal attacking and the mountains that are Gurwinder Singh and Ivan Bukenya.

Wedson's goal was a peach, a real contender for goal of the season, and Robin Singh continued his vendetta against his former side by bagging a brace. A solitary Vineeth goal proved to be little comparison - and East Bengal march on back to the top of the table.

95' WOOOF!!! WATSON HAS A GO FROM DISTANCE, AND IT'S A SUPERB EFFORT - THAT'S SURPASSED BY AN EVEN BETTER SAVE. The best part about it though was that Rehenesh held on to it, instead of parrying it away - a forgotten art that.

94' Juanan lumps it forward, Rehenesh collects calmly... it's getting very desperate here from the home side.

93' Lyngdoh and Watson try to pick out passes, but they are blocked out. BFC still have the ball though and they move it to their dangerman Udanta. The flying winger tries to send in another cross, but it's blocked (by two personnel) for a corner. Nothing comes of the corner, as the ref notices some pushing and shoving in the box.

92' Lyngdoh once again has a go from distance. This time it dribbles harmlessly wide.

91' SIX MINUTES ADDED ON!!! SIX. Trevor Morgan is beside himself with rage! On the pitch, meanwhile, Udanta has a great chance that he swipes wide! OH!!!

90' Lyngdoh tries to recreate the magic of Malaysia by having a go from twenty five yards - but this time the ball flies harmlessly wide.

89' Lenny Rodrigues has a pop from thirty yards, why not, and its deflceted away for a corner. Nothing comes off the srt piece, but BFC still ahve the ball....

88' Daniel is too eager, though, and he runs into Mehtab. The experienced KEB man knows exactly what he is doing as he goes tumbling over. Freekick for East Bengal - Vineeth, meanwhile, talks himself into the ref's book.

87' One more BFC goal, and this could go from a thrashing to a classic in a jiffy!

86' OH MY GOOD LORD! Udanta once again forced the issue by running at Das with extreme prejudice before laying it out to Lyngdoh. The subs square ball is spilled by Rehenesh, but neither Chhetri nor Vineeth can bundle the ball in!!! Gurwinder somehow hacked it clear!

85' BFC are on all out attack the moment....

Udanta once again rips East Bengal apart on the left, before crossing it in - Vineeth came sliding in at the far post and guided it in! Good goal, and it has been coming.

79' WHAT A LOVELY PIECE OF SKILL FROM CHHETRI. The great man pulls off an elastico and worms his way into the box, but Bukenya is there - and BFC have to settle for a corner. Watson swings it in, and Lenny heads it on - another training ground routine, but nothing comes off it.

78' Udanta flies into the box yet again, Narayan Das has no idea what to do with the little man, and he flings a ball into the box - that is brilliantly cleared just outside his own goal by Gurwinder Singh. The Punjabi has been just about as immense as Bukenya.

77' Mandar tries to inject some pace into the Blues, but Mehtab takes the ball off him with ease. He plays it out to Robin, but the striker's ambitious effort lacks in execution what it had in indeation - quality.

76' KEB march forward, as they have done to such great effect the whole day, and win a corner. Mehtab's corner pinballs around the box, before Rafique places an awkward looking acrobatic volley wide of the goal.

74' Watson and Mandar try a Beckham-Scholes corner routine.The only thing that comes out of it is the inexorable truth that Watson and Mandar are not Beckham and Scholes.

73' Nikhil Poojary has just marshalled Sunil Chhetri of the ball! Woof!.. he gets bundled off the ball too, and BFC are back... Mandar Rao plays in Vineeth who in turn lifts a ball in behind Bukenya, but Chettri's effort is blocked, somehow, by the big Nigerian. He has been IMMENSE today.

72' UFF! Udanta rips into the box, before cutting back a superb ball that evades FOUR BFC shirts - Ms. Ambani's favourite li'l Mandar runs on to it and whacks the leather off the ball (just an expression) but it's well blocked by the horde of yellow and red in the box.

71' Now that I see it more clearly, Rehenesh is wearing purple, not blue. Thanks to Ten Sports and their excellent cameras, I really couldn't make out till they showed me a close up of the goalie.

68' Substitution for KEB as Rowllin Borges is taken off for David... he's played well has the Goan Busquets.

67' OUCH OUCH! CHHETRI HAS ABSOLUTELY LOST IT. HE KICKS OUT AT RAFIQUE, GETS BOOKED, STARTS SWEARING SWEET NOTHINGS INTO THE FACE OF THE REFEREE AND PUSHES HIM A BIT!!! .... Any other player, and that was a sending off. As my colleague Sunny Sagar keeps saying - the captain gets away with quite a lot of stuff, very often.

64' Udanta's ball in, Bukenya's ball out - this has been played on loop today. Sandesh Jhingan mixes things up by absolutely clearing out Mehtab. Lucky to walk away with just a yellow. The blues look so very frustrated here

63' Chhetri tries to dribble his way through what looks like Half of Kolkata camped in that penalty box. He, and the ball, disappear into the melee - after a moment or two, Ivan Bukenya strides out with the ball. Of course, he does.

62' The crowd are still shouting their support, and BFC are still knocking on the door - but their attacks just lack any sort of distinct threrat. East Bengal, on the other hand have been ruthless.

60' Substitutions across the board - Narayan Das comes on for Robert for Lal Holud... Sena Ralte goes off for Mandar Rao Dessai for the Blues.

Oh My! Another superb goal aided by non-existent defending. Rafique crossed it in, Payne chested it into the middle and the ball trickled across the grass before Robin Singh careens onto it! Neat finish, and another non-celebration.

56' Unfortunately the immense Wedson had to hobble off in the aftermath of the goal, holding his back, and Mohammed Rafique is on in his stead. Hopefully for Morgan and Co. Wedson recovers soon.

Robin Singh didn't celebrate - hand over heart, and other hand raised in apology to the stands - I don't understand this inanity. BFC and Robin Singh split ways after mutual disagreement over things, and... ah well, just call me a barmy ol' codger, but if you score, you celebrate - you owe it to your current team's fans.

UFF! What a body blow to BFC. Wedson initially had a whack that was blocked, before Poojary chased down the loose ball and stood it up at the far post, where Robin Singh climbed highest and nodded it in!!! Superb header!

Oh no!! Just after I typed out how BFC were being the anthithesis of the Roca philosophy, they strung together a lovely passing move that involved all their midfielders - Watson ended up standing a ball into the far post where Chettri nodded it across, Daniel had the goal at his mercy, and he blazed high and wide

52' Some Westwood-esque Route one football being undertaken by BFC at the moment.... before a lovely little passing presents a superb chance to Daniel.. WHO HITS IT HIGH ABOVE THE BAR!

51' Chhetri and Daniel combine well at the edge of the box, before the former hammers a left-footed effort into the lithosphere.

50' Wedson ghosts pasts Ralte but his cross into the box is rubbish, and Jhingan clears comfortably. Neither team look settled yet, though.

48' Daniel is on for Ranjan.. so it's back to a back four for Roca. KEB really don't seem to be capable of, or willing to, string together more than five passes. First a hasty Robert pass kills one move, before Payne takes an ugly swipe at the ball with Wedson and Robin making decent runs around him.

47' WOOOF! Chhetri has a pop from space, but he drags the ball just wide! Udanta created the chance by dancing down the right and being blocked off by Bukenya, the ball running out to Chhetri.

46' Daniel and Vineeth almost combine with their very first attempt, but the latter is caught offside, and that move breaks down.

At the very least, going by the cut of Chhetri's (and Roca's) face as he (they) stomped off, I'd have gotten a whole new education in swearing.
