Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's coverage of the Calcutta Football League 2018 contest between defending Champions East Bengal and Calcutta Customs.

The two sides faced each other earlier in the previous month in a pre-season friendly in which the Red and Golds ran out 2-1 winners. The I-League side come into this game after a well deserved and comfortable 2-0 win over West Bengal Police. While, Calcutta Customs come into this game with a hard fought 1-1 draw with Aryans SC.

Subhash Bhowmick, Technical Director of East Bengal opined in the Press Conference that he is wary of the threat Customs possess. Customs were defeated 0-2 in the previous edition of the CFL. Carlyle Mitchell scored the two goals.

Joby Justin will still sit out of the game as he is sustaining an injury with Lalrozama Fanai. Reports suggest that Bidyasagar Singh will replace Brandon Vanlalremdika upfront as the youngster impressed with his pace and agility in the previous game.

The game kicks-off at 4:30 PM at the East Bengal Ground.
