The ref blows the final whistle as Mohun Bagan win their third match in a row to stay atop the standings of the Calcutta Football League. Asier Dipanda Dicka was the match-winner for the Bagan side getting the lead in the 72nd minute.

85' - What a save!!! Shankar Roy makes two quick saves in succession to keep the Telegraph attacks out of his goal as he palms the ball out for a corner after two quick headers. The young man saved two sure shot goals. Superb keeping.

78' - Mohun Bagan do not wish to settle for the solitary goal and continue to pressurize the Telegraph goal with their persistent attacking moves.

74' - Arijit Bagui has been booked for a rash challenge by the ref Nipen Haldar.

72' - FINALLY!!! The deadlock has been broken and the crowd erupts in joy!!! Mohun Bagan lead in the match with a subtle header after a good cross into the box by Abhishek Ambekar.

47' - CHANCE!!! Good run by Ambekar from the left side and a ball into the box finds Sourav with a good opportunity but the midfielder skies his shot as the crowd gasps in shock. That was a close shave for George Telegraph.

45' - The second half begins as Mohun Bagan make a substitution.

45+2' - A long freekick put into the box by Gurjinder Kumar as the keeper Mondal comes out to punch the ball clear and clashes with Kim Kima in the process and is being treated by physios now.

45' - Two minutes have been indicated as the score stands 0-0 at the Mohun Bagan stadium.

39' - Close shave for Telegraph as a teasing ball from Ambekar found the keeper Mandal in a spot of bother but Eche was there to clear the lines as they are able to resist Bagan so far.

30' - We're at the half hour mark now as the score is still at 0-0 as Mohun Bagan have failed to break the resistance of George Telegraph despite having the upper hand in the game so far.

23' - Good cross into the box by Arijit that is not dealt well by the Telegraph keeper Mondal and Dicka tries to take an overhead kick but the defender gets to it first and the ref stops the game for dangerous play.

17' - Dicka has a great effort from outside the box as he tests the Telegraph keeper who dived to his left to keep out the shot and pushes it out for a corner.

12' - Good cross from Arijit Bagui to find Dicka lurking in the box but the defender from Telegraph stayed close to his man and did not allow him to take the killer shot.

11' - George Telegraph players are struggling to get the ball out of their half as Bagan are pressuring them with their possesion and pressing.

6' - CLOSE!!! Dipanda Dicka takes the freekick with great technique to the right top corner but it strikes the crossbar and goes over for a goalkick. The keeper dived but was beaten by Dicka's effort. Unlucky for the I-league top scorer of last season.

6' - Freekick for Mohun Bagan in a promising position after a handball offence from Telegraph's Nakamura as the away side players protest the decision. Trio of Bagan players step up to take the deadball.

2' - Early attack from Bagan as a long ball by Eze Kingsley finds the run of Dicka into the box but the keeper rushes out to collect.

1' - And we're off!! Dicka starts off the play for Bagan as the home side play in their white kit from left to right in the first half of the game.

The teams are walking out onto the pitch amidst the roar of fans as the Bagan faithful have thronged to the stadium on a bright, Sunday afternoon.

Perennial Indian Football giants Mohun Bagan are hoping to continue their winning streak when they take on George Telegraph SC in their third fixture of the Calcutta Football League Premier Division 'A' at the Mohun Bagan/CCFC ground.

Mohun Bagan, who have won the CFL title a mammoth 29 times in history, will be raring to challenge fierce rivals East Bengal who are on a 8-title winning streak in the CFL.

Bagan begun their CFL campaign on the right note, winning their first two matches against Pathachakra and NBP Rainbow AC.

However, the two wins have been far from convincing in nature and the fans of the Green and Maroon brigade will be expecting more from the side managed by Shankarlal Chakraborty. They have made good signings at the start of the season and will be going all out to assert their supremacy in the league, which has eluded them for quite a while now.
