That's it for the group stages. But there's no time to breathe as the round of 16 starts tomorrow. We will be there as usual. See you there. Till then take care and be well. Ta, ta!

02:34 (IST)3 DEC 2022

02:33 (IST)3 DEC 2022

A couple of tweets before we end.

02:33 (IST)3 DEC 2022

STAT: Cameroon become the first African side to win against Brazil in a World Cup game.

02:32 (IST)3 DEC 2022

SWITZERLAND BEAT SERBIA WHICH MEANS CAMEROON ARE OUT. Despite a historic win, Cameroon are out. Switzerland haven't done enough to topple Brazil from top spot. Brazil finish first and Switzerland 2nd.

02:30 (IST)3 DEC 2022

FULL-TIME! Cameroon 1 Brazil 0. A historic day for Cameroonian football as they record victory over Brazil - who were much changed and wasted a lot of chances to score. Vincent Aboubakar the hero for Cameroon as he scored in stoppage time before being sent off.

02:29 (IST)3 DEC 2022

WHAT A CHANCE TO Bruno Guimaraes after Marquinhos chests it down, but he skies it over from 4 yards. That was the chance to equalise.

02:27 (IST)3 DEC 2022

It just won't go in for Brazil. Dani Alves from the right to Marquinhos on the far-post who nods it across and Martinelli can't keep the header down.

02:26 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Despite Cameroon winning, they are going out as Switzerland are leading Serbia in the other game.

02:24 (IST)3 DEC 2022

SECOND YELLOW AND THEREFORE A RED TO Vincent Aboubakar! Maybe he forgot. Maybe he knew it. He happily takes the second yellow from the referee and walks off - Aboubakar is sent off for taking his shirt off after scoring. He was booked earlier for bringing down Martinelli - a cynical foul but one for the team. If Cameroon hang on, he won't care.

02:23 (IST)3 DEC 2022

GOAL! Vincent Aboubakar in the 92nd minute! Cameroon 1 Brazil 0. Madness as Vincent Aboubakar scores in stoppage time. He gets in behind the centre-halves and then heads a delightful ball from the right with Ederson rooted to his spot.

02:21 (IST)3 DEC 2022

9 minutes of added time.

02:15 (IST)3 DEC 2022

YELLOW CARD TO Bruno Guimaraes for stopping a counter. That's taking one for the team.

02:14 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Christopher Wooh  with a desperate goal-saving tackle after Raphinha found Bruno Guimaraes in the middle.

02:11 (IST)3 DEC 2022

YELLOW CARD TO Vincent Aboubakar for cynically wrestling Martinelli to the ground. The Arsenal man was away on the right.

02:09 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Jules Olivier Ntcham with a long-range drive but Ederson dives to safely clutch the ball.

02:08 (IST)3 DEC 2022

The intensity has lessened after all those changes and the game's sting has been taken off a bit.

01:56 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Both teams with a change: Pedro comes on for Jesus, while Mbeumo is replaced by Toko Ekambi.

01:48 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Triple change for Brazil: Marquinhos for the injured Telles, plus Bruno Guimaraes and Everton Ribeiro for Fred and Rodrygo.

01:47 (IST)3 DEC 2022

And again Devis Epassy into the action as he saves a sharp shot and then pushes the ball which had sneaked under him to a corner.

01:46 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Good save by Devis Epassy as Martinelli on the left after a brilliant run cuts inside and tries to find the top corner.

01:43 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Marquinhos is ready to come on for Alex Telles as the latter feels the effects of that blow earlier.

01:41 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Vincent Aboubakar on the turn takes a shot but drags it wide of the far-post. Half a chance.

01:38 (IST)3 DEC 2022

From a corner Nicolao Alex Telles is down but gets back up soon, which is good news.

01:35 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Second half starts.

01:20 (IST)3 DEC 2022

HALF-TIME! Cameroon 0 Brazil 0. As expected Brazil have dominated the proceedings but Cameroon have shown that they are a threat as well on the break and with their strikers. They need to win and hope the result in the other game goes their way to qualify.

01:19 (IST)3 DEC 2022

FIRST SHOT ON TARGET AGAINST BRAZIL IN THIS WORLD CUP. Bryan Mbeumo at the far stick is free and he heads his header into the ground, but Ederson acrobatically saves.

01:18 (IST)3 DEC 2022

And from the corner, Rodrygo just curls it wide from the near-post on the right-hand side.

01:17 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Gabriel Martinelli with great feet and drives a rising shot which is I think going over but Devis Epassy palms it over.

01:04 (IST)3 DEC 2022

The first free-kick from Rodrygo was straight at the wall, so Dani Alves takes this from left of centre but floats it over as he attempts to go over the wall and find the top corner.

01:04 (IST)3 DEC 2022

YELLOW CARD TO Collins Fai for bringing down Rodrygo who goes on another snaking run.

00:59 (IST)3 DEC 2022

YELLOW CARD TO Pierre Kunde for bringing down Rodrygo 35 yards from goal - bang centre.

00:52 (IST)3 DEC 2022

Fred tries to do a Richarlison as he on the spin tries an acrobatic volley but blasts it over.

00:45 (IST)3 DEC 2022

First chance of the chance and Gabriel Martinelli attempts to head it across the keeper but Devis Epassy palms it over. The Arsenal man should have done better for he was unmarked as he was found from the right by a diagonal ball.

00:38 (IST)3 DEC 2022

So both sides with a booking each inside the first 10 minutes.

00:38 (IST)3 DEC 2022

YELLOW CARD TO Eder Militao for a high tackle on Moumi Ngamaleu.

00:36 (IST)3 DEC 2022

YELLOW CARD TO Nouhou Tolo of Cameroon for bringing down Antony as he clipped the winger's ankles.

00:31 (IST)3 DEC 2022

23:12 (IST)2 DEC 2022

Here are some pre-match stats courtesy BBC:

Brazil have won both previous World Cup games between themselves and Cameroon - 3-0 in 1994 and 4-1 in 2014.

Brazil have won all seven of their FIFA World Cup matches against African sides, scoring 20 goals and conceding just twice.

A defeat or draw for Cameroon will see them eliminated from the group stage of the World Cup in their sixth successive appearance at the finals, last reaching the knockout rounds in 1990. They've never won their final group stage game in seven previous appearances at the World Cup (D2 L5).

Brazil are yet to face a single shot on target at the 2022 World Cup, the first team to not face a shot on target in their first two games at a tournament since France in 1998.

23:10 (IST)2 DEC 2022

Meanwhile Cameroon coach Rigobert Song is predicting a "scorcher" of a game and expects his side to make history again.

"Cameroon have beaten Brazil before, yes. So it's not completely out there," Song said.

"We are going to be focused and very disciplined for the whole 90 minutes. I want to see the determination and commitment that will allow us to get the three points.

"Obviously, this Brazilian team will be beautiful to me. I have so much respect for Brazil, but in football there are realities that are slightly different.

"Sometimes there is an upset, anything is possible. And that is why I am firmly convinced that we are capable. Tomorrow will be a game that will be an absolute scorcher ... we've already beaten them and we can beat them again."

"We know that it will be no walk in the park for us. But it will be a highly exciting game. We're ready for the fight. We're ready to give everything we've got."
