The drafts for the India based players has been completed and what remains to be added are the overseas players who will add some flair and star value to the ISL.

Chennaiyin had a subpar start to the drafts with a number of failed attempts at an Instant Trade. They returned strongly and they should be satisfied with their activity in the window

The final round of the draft has kicked off with Chennaiyin FC making their pick. They have chosen Shahinlal Meloly, a goalkeeper who plays for Chennai City in the I-League

Abhishek Bachchan announces Chennaiyin's next pick to be Francisco Fernandes who earlier played as winger for FC Pune City. He joins for a sum of Rs 20 Lakh

Chennaiyin have been resurgent in the drafts after suffering a few disappointments in the first five rounds. They now make the first pick of Round 12 in the form of Dhanpal Ganesh who makes his return to the team for a salary of Rs 44 Lakh

Not a single successful negotiation so far and the trend continues. Keenan Almeida remains a Chennaiyin player.

The Tamil Nadu based side have had a disappointing draft so far and they now go for Keenan Almeida. The right back also attracts interest from ATK who show their willingness for an instant trade.

Round 10 of the draft begins will begin with Kerala Blasters taking the first pick. This will be the final round before another strategy and press interaction break.

Round 9 begins with Chennaiyin FC going for Pawan Kumar. The goalkeeper will be playing for Chennai after no other club bids for the goalkeeper. He will command a salary of Rs 25 Lakh

Chennaiyin's first pick in Round 7 and they go for Germanpreet Singh who commands a salary of Rs 12 Lakh. Delhi Dynamos have shown interest in negotiating for the central midfielder. Chennai fans will be hoping for the failed negotiation trend to continue.
