To be honest, Chennaiyin FC would be incensed that they did not win the game despite a fabulous second half performance! They should have been significantly more dominant than their opponents in this half, but that was not the case. CFC continued to put pressure on Hyderabad's defence. They were on the verge of taking the lead when they hit the post. Even after that, they got a couple of half-chances but couldn't capitalise on any of them. Both teams gave it their all in the end, but were unable to score the game-winning goal.

75' Flurry of chances! With Ninthoi's strike, Chennaiyin almost had the upper hand and pulled ahead for a lead. However, Hyderabad's keeper Kattimani denies making a double save.

69' So close, yet so far. Gikiewicz misses the right side of the goal with a header from Ninthoi's cross. On the rear, Rahim Ali gets the ball. He directs it to the far post. Lukasz Gikiewicz leaps high, but only just misses the attacker's head.

62' SUBSTITUTION Sahil Tavora and Yasir Mohammad replace Souvik and Poojary on the field. Lukasz Gikiewicz and Rahim Ali, on the other side, replace Valskis and Murzaev.

Hot & Cold scenes at Fatorda. With the rate Hyderabad FC was creating chances and momentum after every run of play, the goal was inevitable, and it was fortunate for the Nizams that it came in the first half, courtesy of Javier Siverio.

On the other hand, Sajit got the lead for Chennaiyin FC, reviving optimism for a team in desperate need of a victory.

45+4' GOOAALLLL! How about this equaliser from Savario. Hyderabad are leaving no way. Siverio unleashes a fantastic header from 12-yards out, leaving a desperate Debijit with no choice but to watch the ball.

45' Debijit's day out! Edu Garcia aims a shot on goal, but his left-footed strike from within the box is superbly saved by Debjit. Four minutes have been added to the half-time.

37' FOUL. First booking of the day. Aniket curls in a low cross from the left flank, but there is no space inside the box for Hyderabad's strikers to capitalise on these chances. Meanwhile, the winger receives a yellow for a Ninthoi stamp.

30' It's time for some drinks! The players are given a little respite to rehydrate. The game has been closely contested thus far, with Marina Machans emerging as the superior team on the field.

23' Chance, but missed. Hyderabad grabs an easy corner on the left flank, but clever Debijit calls for it and clears it away. It lands well for Souvik Chakrabarti on the edge of the box, who shoots but it deflects just wide of the post.

21' Chances galore for Hyderabad FC, but Chennaiyin's defenders are too superb to keep Nizams at bay. Good to see CFC retaining possession even after scoring.

13' GOOAAAALLL! Team Chennaiyin draws the first blood with a brilliant header goal. Sajid's brilliance is unrivalled. Anirudh Thapa's superb assist allows them to score the game's first goal. The Marina Machans were granted a free kick after Ninthoinganba Meetel was fouled. Mohd Sajid Dhot soars and heads the ball into the opposing netting.

9' Attempt! Javier Siverio wins the ball and sprints straight into the opposition's zone, finding his aim, flicks the ball but allowing Debijit to make an easy save.
