The Indian U16 football team has been on a roll in their recent tournaments, and are set for yet another exposure trip as they go on a tour of China, in their preparation for the AFC U-16 Championship, which gets underway in Malaysia, in September.

Under the mentorship of coach Bibiano Fernandes, the U16 boys have gone on to impress on their previous tours, winning the title in Serbia. Prior to that, They had clinched the Jockey Cup in Hong Kong, before having a couple of successful tours in Spain.

The India U16 football team is currently in the preparation mode ahead of the AFC U-16 Championship and will start off this friendly tournament against China, before facing Malaysia and North Korea.

The Blue Colts have been placed in Group C of the Championship, where they are set to face off against tough opposition like Iran, Vietnam and Indonesia. All the Group C matches will be held in Kuala Lumpur.
