The 27-year-old Scot finishes his display on the rings with a cumulative score of 13.233, enough to get him the penultimate spot in the final table.

The top two spots are currently occupied by the English athletes, Tulloch at the summit followed by Wilson in the second position.

Day 4 is off to a positive start for India with Punam Yadav winning a gold in Weightlifting & Mery Kom securing a Bronze for herself in Boxing. India also beat the strong England team in women's hockey 2-1 coming back from 1 goal behind. The Women's 10m Air Pistol participants, India's Manu Bhaker & Heena Sidhu bagging a Gold medal and Silver medal respectively. The Indian Women's Table Tennis contingent also doing well defeating England 3-0 and moving on to the Gold medal match where they will be facing Singapore later in the day.

In Gymnastics, Rakesh Patra will represent India in the event of Men's Rings Finals. The Odisha born Gymnast represented India at the 2014 Glasgow Games as well. The 26-year-old decided to take up Gymnastics being inspired by his uncle Ashok Kumar Misha is a former international gymnast.

Rakesh will be up against Courtney Tulloch of England, Devy Dyson of New Zealand, Nile Wilson of England, Scott Morgan of Canada, Marios Georgiou of Cyprus, Rene Cournoyer of Canada, and Daniel Purvis of Scotland.
