Earlier today, Neeraj Chopra won the men's javelin gold with a season's best. Jinson Johnson came up with a personal best and a national record to finish fifth in men's 1500m. Arpinder Singh finished fourth men's triple jump.

That was a pretty sad end to what has been a great show for India in athletics today.

Next up is Men's 4 x 400m Relay Final:

Dharun Ayyasamy, Amoj Jacob, Dharun Ayyasamy & Rajiv Arokia will are the four athletes representing India.

They are up against athletes from Trinidad & Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, Botswana, Kenya, Jamaica, Fiji & The Bahamas

The penultimate day of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games has been a great one with India bagging 5 gold medals already.

India had a tremendous start to the 10th day of the Commonwealth Games 2018 with MC Mary Kom bagging a gold medal in Boxing in the Women's 45-48kg category defeating Kristina O'Hara of Northern Ireland in the Final bout. Gaurav Solanki followed suit and won the Gold medal in his respective weight category. However, their compatriots Amit Phangal, Manish Kaushik had to settle for a Silver medal each in their weight categories.

Sumit also winning a gold medal for India in Wrestling in the Men's Freestyle 125 kg Nordic. Meanwhile, Sanjeev Rajput brought home another gold medal in Shooting by finishing at the pole position in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men's Finals. Sanjeev Rajput also made a Commonwealth Games Record with a final result of 454.5 points. Neeraj Chopra is latest to win a gold medal for India in the Men's Javelin Throw Final.

India will be looking to finish the tournament on a high with many more medals as the drama continues with India playing a lot of Finals and Semifinals on the last 2 days.
