Hima Das will be representing India in this event. The young 18-year-old from Assam finished with an impressive 52.11 in Women's 400m Round 1 - Heat 5 to qualify for the Finals. She will be looking for a podium finish in the Women's 400m Final.

India continues to win medals in shooting on Day 7. India's Shreyasi Singh won a gold medal in the Women's Double Trap Finals & Ankur Mittal bagged a Bronze in the Men's Double Trap Finals.
