The fourth day of the Commonwealth Games was a good one for India with Punam Yadav winning a gold in Weightlifting & Mery Kom securing at least a Bronze for herself in Boxing. Vikas Thakur also won Bronze in weightlifting. Indian women's team also beat an in-form England side in women's hockey 2-1, coming back from a goal down. The Women's 10m Air Pistol participants, India's Manu Bhaker & Heena Sidhu bagged a Gold medal and Silver medal respectively. The Indian women's team creating history and winning a Gold in Table Tennis.
The fifth day has also started off on a positive not with India's Pardeep Yadav winning a Silver medal in Weightlifting Men's 105kg category.
India's Gaurav Solanki will be seen facing Ghana's Akimos Annang Ampiah in the Boxing Men's 52kg Round of 16. Solanki will be seen in Red and the boxer from Ghana will be seen in Blue. India will have high hopes from the young 21-year-old boxer Gaurav Solanki.
