Manoj Kumar will be India's representative in the 69 Kg weight category this afternoon as he takes on Terry Nickolas of Australia. The home crowd will be fully behind the Aussie and Manoj will have a tough task at hand. 

Kumar is one of the more experienced athletes India has in this sport. Kumar has already beaten Osita Umeh of Nigeria, and Kassim Mbundwike of Tanzani to reach the quarterfinals.

Day 6 of the Commonwealth Games progresses with hopes of winning many more medals just as they did yesterday. In shooting, India's Gagan Narang & Chain Singh qualified for the finals of the 50m Rifle Prone Men's but Gagan Narang finished 7th & Chain Singh finished 4th in the Final. Annu Singh and Heena Sidhu followed suit and reached the Finals of Women's 25m Pistol Finals with Heena Sindhu winning gold. This was India's first gold of the day. Meanwhile, the Indian Men's Hockey team confirmed their spot in the Semifinals beating Malaysia in the morning and reaching the top of the table with 7 points. The Indians have also done well in Squash and Badminton.
