Satish made short work of his opponent in this bout, as he completely dominated from the very start. He will now look to notch up a gold medal in the final bout.

And hence, Satish wins the bout by abandonement, and has now progressed to the FINAL!

However, Satish dodges him easily, and lands a square punch that seemed to have dazed Agnes. That seemed to have been enough, as Agnes abandoned the fight.

And we're back in Round 2, and Agnes immediately goes on the offensive.

As Satish looks to dominate, the bell goes off, signalling the end of Round 1.

A little treatment from the doctor, and we're all set to get the action underway, as Satish gets right back into the thick of the action.

Keddy Agnes does not seem to be in a good shape here, as the referee pauses the fight and asks the Seychelles man to get his face checked.

As the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games head into their final stages, there is still a lot of action to come. Day 9 started off on a positive note with Tejaswini Sawant winning a gold medal & Anjum Moudgil winning a silver medal in Shooting Women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions Finals. Young gun Anish Bhanwala, only 15-year-old won the gold medal in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men's Finals. Indian shooters continue to delight and win medals.

Bajrang of India also bagged a gold medal in Wrestling 65kg Freestyle category taking India's gold medal tally to 17! Divya Kakran also got home a Bronze medal for India in Wrestling defeating Sherin Sultana of Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Mausam Khatri winning a Silver Medal in Wrestling Men's 97kg category.

India will be looking to finish the tournament on a high as a lot of medals will be decided in the next three days, starting on Day 9.
