Day 4 is off to a positive start for India with Punam Yadav winning a gold in Weightlifting & Mery Kom securing a Bronze for herself in Boxing. India also beat the strong England team in women's hockey 2-1 coming back from 1 goal behind. The Women's 10m Air Pistol participants, India's Manu Bhaker & Heena Sidhu bagging a Gold medal and Silver medal respectively.The Indian Women's Table Tennis contingent also doing well defeating England 3-0 earlier in the day and moving on to the Gold medal match where they will be facing Singapore. India's Vikas Thakur also made India proud winning a bronze medal in the Men's 94kg category in Weightlifting.

Sanuraj Sanandaraj, Sahil Kumar, and Ranjit Singh will represent India in the Men's 1000m Time Trial as cycling resumes on Day 4. The fourth day will be the final day of cycling events and the Indian men will look to end their competition on a high note by winning a medal. Cycling has been one of India's more disappointing sports so far and as the event comes to a close, the cyclists will look to go back home with something in the bucket.
