Day 3 of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 draws to a close and it has been a rather successful day for India. Earlier on the day, India has already added a Gold medal to their tally with Sathish Sivalingam claiming victory in weightlifting. India's Table Tennis Women's team has also made it through to the next round, beating Malaysia 3-0 overall. They are now one victory away from a medal. The Indian Hockey team gave away the lead in the dying moments against Pakistan to draw 2-2.

Sonali Mayanglambam & Monorama Tongbram will be seen representing India in cycling in the Women's 25 km point race Finals.

22 year old Monorama Devi is from Manipur as is her compatriot Sonali. They both will give their best to give a strong finish in the Women's 25 km point race.
