Hello all! The 500m Time trial event is about to start. India's Aleena Reji and Deborah Herold will be taking part in this event. Each individual cyclist will set her time and in the end the cyclst with the best time wins the gold medal

Day 3 of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 draws to a close and it has been a rather successful day for India. Earlier on the day, India has already added a Gold medal to their tally with Sathish Sivalingam claiming victory in weightlifting. India's Table Tennis Women's team has also made it through to the next round, beating Malaysia 3-0 overall. They are now one victory away from a medal. The Indian Hockey team gave away the lead in the dying moments against Pakistan to draw 2-2.

Cycling update: India will be represented by 18 year old Aleena Reji, who is from Kerala & 23 year old Deborah who is from Nicobar. India has high hopes from these two cyclists and are eagerly to see what exploits they can make on the cycling track. Deborah being the most popular as well as most decorated cyclist in India, is the favorite among the two for a podium finish. Very few know that Deborah is also a Software engineer by profession.
