Complete domination by Mirabai Chanu here! She goes for 110kgs in her 3rd attempt, and barely breaks sweat, as she breaks the Commonwealth Games record for the sixth time on a single day!

Its cakewalk for Mirabai Chanu, as she lifts 107kgs!

And the moment is here. Mirabai Chanu with the gold medal attempt! 103kgs, and she gets the gold medal, as she breaks yet another Commonwealth record!

She comes in for a 3rd attempt, lifts it cleanly, but she swivels on her feet, and drops it. Braddock is absolutely distraught after that attempt.

Amanda Braddock goes for the 93 kg lift, but fails on both attempts. One more attempt left for her to get a medal!

Gomes goes for 90kgs, but she lets it go very soon. She gets a total tally of 155 kg.

Now Toua sneaks up to the 3rd spot with a 90kg lift. Her total tally now stands at 155kgs.

Sri Lanka's Gomes goes for a 90kg lift, but fails to make it.

Kelly Jo-Robson is up next. She goes for 73kg, but fails to make the lift.

Lisa Tobias lifts 79kgs in clean and jerk! She has now broken the Scottish record, with this lift.

Malani lifts 73 in her 3rd attempt. A disappointing start for the Fiji lifter.

And we get underway in the 70kg category of clean and jerk, as Powell starts off with a 70kg lift.

She now has a 10kg lead!

What performance by Mirabai Chanu! She has broken the Commonwealth Games record 3 times in 6 minutes! She lifts 86 kgs in her 3rd attempt.

She goes for 84kgs, and lifts it without breaking a sweat! This is a brilliant showing by Mirabai Chanu!

Toua fails her 3rd attempt with the 70kg, and fails to make it.

Dinusha Gomes comes back for her second attempt, and lifts 70kgs with relative ease.

Uweh fails to lift 67kgs on her 3rd attempt. She ends this round with 66kgs.

Stephenson is back for her third attempt, and manages the 61 kgs, as the home crowd goes crazy.

Tobias is back for her third attempt, and she is finally successful, as she lifts 60 kgs.

Seruwaia Malani of Fiji fails to lift her 60 kg attempt.

Lisa Tobias of Scotland comes in next, as she attempts a 60 kg snatch. However, she fails to lift it, and walks off in a dejected manner.

Slyce Stephenson of Australia is up next, and she lifts 59 kgs on her first attempt.

Powell comes back for her third and final snatch, and lifts 56 kgs, as she walks off to rapturous applause.

She comes back for her second attempt of 54 kgs, and Powell aces it easily.

Hannah Powell of Wales is up first, and she successfully lifts 52 kgs in her first attempt.

Indian female weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu (born 8 August 1994) won a Gold medal in the 48 kg category at 2017 World Weightlifting Championships held in Anaheim, United States. She will be looking to take the good form forward and hope for a podium finish. She had also won a silver medal in the Commonwealth Games at Glasgow where her Indian compatriot Khumukcham Sanjita had won Gold.
