Pakistan's Muhammad Khalil Akthar, Australia's Sergei Evglevski, England's Kristian Callaghan and Singapore's Lip Meng Poh also join Neeraj in the race for the top place with a matching score of 97.

Heading into Day 8, India will be looking to continue a good medal run in the competition so far.

Next up is the Shooting 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men's Qualification - Stage 1:

Neeraj Kumar, Anish will be seen representing India in this event. Neeraj Kumar will be seen in Relay 1, Anish will be seen in Relay 2.


Medals won on Day 7: India's Shreyasi Singh won a gold medal in the Women's Double Trap Finals & Ankur Mittal bagged a Bronze in the Men's Double Trap Finals. Om Mitharval also bagged a bronze medal in the Men's 50m Pistol Finals which happened earlier in the day.

On Day 7, there was a also lot of progress in the Boxing event. Manish Kaushik, Vikas Krishan, and Gaurav Solanki went through to the Semifinals. Legendary Mary Kom did one better and progressed to the Finals in the 45-48 Kg weight category.

Indian Men's Hockey team staged a great comeback from 3-2 down to win 4-3 against England in the final minutes of the match, confirming their spot in the semifinals.

India will be hoping Day 8 of the Commonwealth Games 2018 is just as successful as the previous days.
