The fourth day of the Commonwealth Games brings to us shooting for the first time. India has sent a strong contingent to the Gold Coast and is fully expected to challenge for a lot of medals. The fourth Day at CWG brings four events. Three of those- Women's 10m Air Pistol, Women's Skeet, and Men's 10m Air Rifle will be decided on Day 4 itself. Air Rifle is an event in which shooters use a special rifle to fire shots from a standing position. There will be two rounds, qualification round and finals. In Qualification, the shooters will get 60 shots in 75 minutes, while in the finals they'll get 24 shots. India will be represented in this event by Deepak Kumar and Ravi Kumar. Deepak Kumar, the Delhi born shooter will be making his CWG debut. Deepak Kumar says his hero are all the Handicapped athletes. He says they motivate him to do better. Ravi Kumar will make his second appearance at the CWG, with his first coming at Glasgow, four years earlier.
