Day 4 brings to us the sporting event of shooting for the first time. India has sent a strong contingent to the Gold Coast and is fully expected to challenge for a lot of medals. The fourth Day at CWG brings four events. In three of those events, medals will be given.

First up is Women's 10m Air Pistol in which India will be represented by Manu Bhaker and Heena Sidhu.
Usually, 40 shots are given to women to shoot within a time of 50 minutes. As a result, a shooter can decide when she wants to shoot, giving her time to compose and adjust herself.

India will be represented in this event by Manu Bhaker and Heena Sindhu. A qualifier will take place at 4:30 am before the final takes place at 7:30. Bhaker, a Haryana born shooter will be one of the strong favourites in this competition while Heena Sindhu won't be too far behind.
